The Genie from Aladdin is looking for actors, and YOU can be his new star in his next big movie production.

The Flying Carpets Over Agrabah features Genie from the Aladdin movie. He is the director of a new movie and is looking for stars that will fly with him over Agrabah on the flying carpets. Before the flight starts guests have to make their way trough a backstage area. Guest enter the area at the right hand side of the attraction. A small switch back area quickly brings the actors to the main entrance of the attraction. Once leaving the backstage area guests are divided into two rows to fasten the boarding procedure. Once the previous guests have left the attraction the two gates at the rows are opened and boarding can begin.

Each colorful flying carpet can have up to four people in it. There are two rows available and each of them has a special feature for its guests. The front row has a small joy stick that will make the carpet go up or down while the back has a big button that can be used to tilt the carpet forth and back. These features are activated once the attraction starts spinning around.

During the ride the Genie will shout out to his actors what to do on this take for his movie. Once the ride finishes he will compliment his new found stars before they “touch down” again.

The big spinning carousel has a colorful background representing Agrabah and on top of the attraction guest will be able to see a magic lamp that turns around with the carpets.

Tips

Don't like the long queues at Dumbo? Then this is a good alternative (If you can convince the younger once). Queues are a lot shorter at this attraction and it even has a FastPass system that makes the wait for this ride even shorter.

While the back seat can be as fun as the front seat, do try to get a seat in the front where you'll have the control over the up and down movement of the flying carpets.
