Step through the majestic gates of the Walt Disney Studios and you will find yourself on the Front Lot.

The proud gates guarding the entrance to the Walt Disney Studios as well as the picturesque plaza of the Front Lot are inspired by the major studios and their lotsfrom the Golden Age of Hollywood in the 1930s and 40s. Front-LotAt the far end Studio 1 stands tall as the backdrop of the Front Lot with its silhouette inspired by the Hyperion Avenue Studios of Walt Disney in Los Angeles.

The center piece of the Front Lot is a sparkling fountain featuring Mickey as the Sorcerer's Apprentice and his water carrying broom sticks. Guest are invited to take a unique souvenir photo with one of the broom sticks who climbed out of the wide basin of the fountain - or just relax in the shade of the palm trees on the Front Lot enjoying the vista.

It houses the Hollywood Boulevard, a fantastic indoor boulevard lined by real and imagined facades of some of the most famous and most impressive landmark buildings from Hollywood and Los Angeles, including Schwab's Pharmacy, the Brown Derby, The Alexandria Theater and many more. Front-LotStepping through the doors in the facades, behind the sets will discover the Legends of Hollywood shop on the left side of the sound stage respectively the En Coulisse Restaurant on the right side. Take a minute and look around the the scenery evoking the feel of a live movie set - and you will be rewarded by many details to be discovered, including some larger (like Herbie) and some smaller...
