Disney Village covers an area of 18.000 m² and includes besides various restaurants and shops, an open air stage, a night club, a wild west show and a multiplex cinema. Everything you need to party all night long together at a very Disney kind of place !

Big red letters, illuminated at night and forming the name "Disney Village" are the entrance to the entertainment center. The Gaumont multiplex cinema and the entrance to Buffallo Bill´s Wild West Show are situated near the gate.

Behind the gate there is a world of fun ready to be discovered. The whole area is covered by a web of steel cables, which carry hundreds of small white lights. The web is layed on a lot of metal poles with red and white stripes. This is a design of the architect Frank Gehry and the two Frenchmen Saubot and Julien.

Every night you can find the best sort of entertainment at Disney Village and do not forget the endless shopping possibilities. Different open air concerts take place at the big stage (opposite to Billy Bob´s), which cover a wide variety of music styles, like Soul, Rock, Jazz, Country or Pop. Most of the bands do not have big names, nevertheless you will never be disappointed by their performance. This is the right place to spend great hours at warm summer night.

Besides the open air stage there are also indoor possibilities to hear live music. At Billy Bob´s Country and Western Saloon you can listen to the Moody Brothers, a country band which was decorated with a Grammy Award. There are also live performances sometimes at the Hurricanes night club and the Rock´n Roll America bar. Through the whole year different music festivals take place at Disney Village, e.g. the Irish folk festival for St. Patrick´s day.

At Disney Village you can find a Plante Hollywood, a Rainforest Cafe and Mc Donald´s, besides carious Disney restaurants.

During the day, Disney Village is the best place to escape the crowded restaurants inside the theme park at lunchtime, if you like to eat in a calm atmosphere. The restaurants offer a variety of food, starting with fast food and ending with complete menus at a high level. You can also have character breakfast at Disney Village, usually at Los Angeles Bar and Grill.

Disney Village erstreckt sich auf einer Fläche von 18.000 qm und bietet seinen Gästen von einer Freilichtbühne über Restaurants, Bars, Geschäften, Kinos und einer Wild West Show bis hin zu einer Disco alles was das das Herz begehrt, um am Abend, einmal richtig zu feiern.

Von hieraus erstreckt sich eine Vergnügungsmeile, die im Licht der Leuchtschriften der einzelnen Vergnügungseinrichtungen hell erstrahlt. Überspannt wird die ganze Anlage von einem Netz, an Drahtschnüren befestigter Lämpchen, die durch die großen Metallpfeiler, die die Straße flankieren in der Luft gehalten werden. Gestaltet wurde das ganze Projekt vom Architekten Frank Gehry und den Franzosen Saubot und Julien.

Unterhaltung der besten Art findet man hier allabendlich und auch zum Shopping sind viele Möglichkeiten gegeben. Jeden Abend finden auf der großen Oper-Air Bühne (gegenüber Billy Bob's ) Livekonzerte mit hervorragenden Bands statt, deren Repertoire Soul, Rock, Jazz, Country, Pop usw. beinhaltet. Die meisten Bands die hier auftreten haben zwar nicht unbedingt große Namen, hier aber eine Band zu finden, die ihr Handwerk nicht versteht, ist außerordentlich schwierig und es macht immer wieder Spaß die ausgelassene Atmosphäre zu genießen. Vor allem an warmen Sommerabenden lassen sich an dieser Bühne phantastische Stunden verleben.

Doch nicht nur im Freien wird Live-Musik geboten, sondern auch in den Bars. Im Billy Bob's Country and Western Saloon spielen jeden Abend die Moody Brothers, eine mit dem Grammy Award ausgezeichnete Countryband. Im Hurricanes Night Club und in der Rock'n Roll America Bar finden auch des öfteren Livekonzerte statt. Des weiteren gibt es über das Jahr verteilt immer wieder Musikfestivals aller Art, so zum Beispiel das Irish Folk Festival rund um den St. Patrick's Day.

Im Disney Village befinden sich aber nicht nur Disney Restaurants, sondern auch ein Planet Hollywood, ein McDonalds und ein Rainforest Café.

Tagsüber eignet sich das Disney Village gut, um den Schlangen, die zur Mittagsessenszeit, in den Restaurants des Parks, vorzufinden sind zu entgehen und einfach hier in Ruhe und ohne Hektik zu essen. Die Angebotspalette reicht von Fast-Food bis zu hervorragenden Menüs der gehobenen Klasse. Morgens findet im Disney Village auch ein Frühstück mit den Disney-Figuren statt (normalerweise im Los Angeles Bar and Grill).
