Where the Magic Begins
Before the guest enters teh world of magic and fantasy at the Disneyland Park he passes through the Fantasia Gardens creating a smooth change from the real world to the world of make believe ... but not only when covered in snow these gardens are well worth a visit on their own as Joel proofs here...	Bevor der Gast die Welt des Zaubers und der Fantasie im Disneyland Park betritt, windet sich sein Weg durch die Fantasia Gardens, die einen sanften Übergang von der wahren Welt zur Welt der Träume schaffen ... und auch wenn sie nicht schnee-bedeckt wären, lohnt sich hier ein Besucht, wie Joel beweist...

A Fantasy in White .... and Green?

Near the top of the gardens the Disney Legends statue can be found - a masterpiece of art that nature gave a special topping with the last snowfall.	Nahe dem Kopf der Gärten findet sich die Disney Legends Statue - ein wahres Kunstwerk, dem die Natur nun mit dem letzten Schneefall die Krone aufsetzte.	Turning around the view falls onto the giant Mickey formed out of plants in front of Disneyland Hotel - two landmarks of which the first one nearly disappears in the snow.	Dreht man sich 180 Grad, so fällt der Blick auf den Mickey-Kopf vor dem Disneyland Hotel - zwei Wahrzeichen, von denen eines fast ganz im Schnee versinkt.	This friendly hippo-ballerina from Fantasia are greeting guests near the snow covered entrance - hopfeully they (and the guests) don't get a cold under their snow-cloths...	Diese freundliche Nilpferd-Ballerina begrüßte die Gäste vor dem Eingang - hoffentlich bekommen sie und die Gäste) keinen Schnupfen unter dem Schneekleid...

Under a Blue Sky!

Returning on the 7th of January the sun is out and transforms the many narrow pathways really to a labyrinth through a winter wonderland.	Bei der Rückkehr am 7. Januar steht die Sonne hoch über den Gärten - wie in den Träumen von einem Winterwunderland ... perfekt!	Thanks to the sun also some of the snow has already melted away, making the giant Mickey a bit more recognizable - but isn't this a postcard view anyway?	Dank der Sonne ist auch der gigantische Mickey nun wieder leichter zu erkennen - und voila, schon haben wir ein Photo, wie es sonst nur auf Postkarten zu finden ist.	Even the deepest corners of the gardens are sprinkled with snow - but don't think all would be white now, not only the hotel brings colors in but also some berries.	Selbst die tiefsten Ecken des Gartens sind mit Schnee bedeckt, so dass das rosa-farbene Hotel und die leuchtend roten Beeren an den Sträuchern herausstechen.
