Also the guests of the since early 1999 completely booked hotels did spend the night either in the themepark or at Disney Village, both offering their own, special Millennium Celebration, all hotels came forward with some special programs to start the evening in the right mood. The Hotel-Bars did offer live entertainment and / or music all through the night right into the next morning, while the New Year's Eve Dinners in the hotel restaurants were spiced up not only with special menus but also live performances of music groups, artists, magicians and Disney characters. And for those looking for a even more special dinner, the Newport Bay Club presented the last evening of this engagement of the Jolly Holiday Show at the Ballroom of the Convention Centre at the Newport Bay Club, starting with a special dinner, then going on with a live singing and dancing show with a cast of 26 dancers, several Disney characters and 5 singers who take their guests on a journey into the workshop of father christmas at the north pole, and then culminating in dancing till 4 o'clock in the morning! At the same time at the Times Square Room of the Convention Centre at the Hotel New York the dinner show A Musical Evening with Mickey Mouse did take place, where the guests can choose from a wide variety of buffets while a big orchestra and a singer present a collection of classical Disney tunes with Disney characters joining the audience and inviting them to dance till 4:00 am in the morning! But the most guests left the hotels before that time to take part in the celebrations inside the themepark or at Disney Village.
But the magic continued on January the first (not only with musical entertainment in the bars during the evening) but before that with a surprise present for all hotel guests at the brunch: a special Disneyland Paris Year 2000 mug!

 

Obwohl die Gäste der bereits seit Anfang 1999 komplett ausgebuchten Hotels die Nacht größtenteils im Themenpark oder dem Disney Village feierten, die beide eigene Millennium Feierlichkeiten organisiert hatten, boten alle Hotels eigene kleinere Programme an, um den Abend bereits in der richtigen Stimmung zu beginnen. So präsentierten die Hotelbars die gesamte Nacht hindurch bis in den nächsten Morgen hinein live Unterhaltung und Musik, während die Silvester-Dinner in den Hotelrestaurants nicht nur mit einer besonderen Menüfolge sondern auch mit Live-Darbietungen von Musikgruppen, Künstlern, Magiern und Disneycharakteren einen besonderen Glanz erhielten. Und alle die ein ganz besonderes Dinner suchten wurden im New Port Bay Club Convention Centre fündig, wo im Ballsaal die letzte Vorstellung der Jolly Holiday Show stattfand (eine Wiederaufnahme in der kommenden Weihnachtssaison ist möglich), die mit einem Dinner beginnt, dann in eine große Show mit live Gesang und 26 Tänzern, zahlreichen Disneyfiguren und 5 Sängern übergeht, die die Zuschauer auf eine Reise zum Nordpol und den Werkstätten des Weihnachtsmanns entführen, bevor bis 4 Uhr am Morgen die Möglichkeit besteht selbst das Tanzbein zu schwingen. Zeitgleich fand im Times Square Roome im Convention Centre des Hotel New York die Show A Musical Evening with Mickey Mouse statt, bei der die Gäste sich ihr Dinner an zahlreichen Büfetts selbst zusammenstellen können, während ein Sänger begleitet von einem großen Orchester klassische Disney-Songs zum Besten gibt und Disneyfiguren sich unter die Gäste mischen, um sie bis 4 Uhr zum Tanzen zu bitten. Dennoch verließen erwartungsgemäß die meisten Gäste die Hotels vor Mitternacht um im Themenpark oder Disney Village das Millennium zu feiern.
In den Hotels aber war noch immer ein wenig Magie für den 1. Januar übrig: nicht nur für musikalische Darbietungen in den Bars am Abend, sondern auch für ein Überraschungsgeschenk während des Hotel-Brunchs - jeder Hotelgast erhielt eine spezielle "Disneyland Paris Jahr 2000"-Tasse!
