 At the heart of the Disney-magic are the countless characters that have starred in the animated features and tv-series - this small parade offers the chance to meet many of them and get in direct touch...

Around noon the up-beat soundtrack starts at the Town Plaza from where the mini-parade will wind down the Main Street U.S.A. passes by the Castle toward It's A Small World, all the way long to the song "Dacin' (A Catchy Rhythm)" which lights up the mood of everyone.

Mickey's Toon Time is opened by a group of dancers followed by countless characters from the world of Disney animation, among them the most popular as Aladdin and Jasmine but also some less well known as Brer Bear (from "Songs of the South"). The characters walk by the guests, which gives them not only a good opportunity to take some pictures but, especially for the youngest ones, even to greet them with a handshake!

In between the characters small groups of dancers are performing in their colorful costumes, while the most classical characters, Pluto, Goofy, Donald, ... are riding in the old Main Street mobiles. And at the end of the parade finally Mickey and Minnie arrive in their luxuries oldtimer.

While this is no classical Disney parade (their are no large floats, ...) it still presents around 5 minutes of pure fun and entertainment, when one can get eye to eye with some of the most beloved Disney characters, while at least tapping one's feet to the wonderful song.

Gegen Mittag startet der fröhliche Soundtrack an der Town Plaza, von wo aus sich die Mini-Parade die Main Street U.S.A. vorbei am Schloß bis zu It's A Small World schlängelt, die ganze Zeit begleitet von "Dancin' (A Catchy Rhythm)", das jedermanns Stimmung hebt.

Mickey's Toon Time wird von einer Gruppe Tänzer eröffnet, gefolgt von zahlreichen Disney-Figuren aus der Welt des Zeichentricks, darunter so populäre wie Aladdin und Jasmine aber auch weniger bekannte wie Brer Bear (aus "Songs of the South"). Die Figuren schlendern entlang der wartenden Gäste und geben ihnen die Chance nicht nur einige Photos zu machen, sondern, besonders den Jüngsten, sie per Handschlag (oder Handkuss) zu begrüßen.

Zwischen den Figuren tauchen immer wieder Tänzergruppen in farbenfrohen Kostümen auf, während die klassischen Charaktere, Pluto, Goofy, Donald, ... in den Main Street Automobilen fahren. Am Ende der Parade erscheinen dann endlich Mickey und Minnie in einem luxuriösen Oldtimer.

Auch wenn dies keine klassische Disney Parade ist (sie bietet keine großen Prunkwagen, ..), bietet sie doch ca. 5 Minuten puren Spaß und Unterhaltung, wenn man Auge in Auge den Disney-Figuren gegenübersteht und die Füße zu dem wunderbaren Song mittanzen.

 No matter where you want to watch the parade, depending on how crowded the park is, you should show up 5 to 10 minutes in advance. The only place to watch the parade while sitting is at the Castle Stage, but these seats (which are really cold in the winter) are occupied very long in advance.

Most guests line up along the Main Street U.S.A. and Central Plaza for the unique sight of the parade with the castle as backdrop, while it is by far less crowded in Fantasyland in front of and opposite of the Pizzeria Bella Notte. There are also four points from where to get an "on the top"-view of the parade: right in front of the queuing area of It's A Small World, the balcony on top of the director's booth behind the seats of the Castle Stage, the pavilion on Town Square and finally the Main Street Station of the railroad (usually the most crowded of this four places that expecially the photographers like).

 When the parade premiered in 1998 as successor to the very similar "Good Morning Main Street !"-parade (itself the successor of the similar "La Promenade Musicale de Mickey" from 1992/93) it featured a pop-version of the up-beat Disney-song "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah" (by Allie Wrubel and Ray Gilbert) as it's soundtrack, which had been written for the "Songs of the South" feature and is also used in the soundtrack of the Splash Mountain rides in Disneyland Anaheim and the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. The recording used as soundtrack for the parade was a special remix of a recording by Patti Austin released in the US on the CD "Disney's Music from the Park" in 1996 to commemorate the 25th Birthday of Walt Disney World. The remix from DLP was cutting out most of the slower sections to emphasize the up-beat character of the parade. In August 2000 to coincide with a change in the soundtrack of the Disney's ImagiNations Parade Mickey's Toon Time got a new soundtrack, too: "Dancin' (A Catchy Rhythm)" (by Vasile Sirli and Jay Smith) the themesong written for the Wonderful World of Disney Parade at DLP (available on the single CD "La Parade du monde Merveilleux Disney" and the long playing CDs "Une Journee a Disneyland Paris", "Les Parades en Musique" (edition 1998 & 2000) and "L'Album Anniversaire - 10 Disneyland Paris" from DLP). With the change of the soundtrack the choreography changed too - the dancers are now doing their routines from the Wonderful World of Disney Parade. This new soundtrack (performed by Sue Ann Carwell and Joey Diggs) is very catchy (as the title suggests) and has been a favorite of the DLP-guests (it has even been exported to the EPCOT Center at Walt Disney World for a mini parade there).

The parade closed after roughly two years of service in February 2001 as the park prepared for the new parade Disney's Toon Circus that took the place of Mickey's Toon Time on the 31st of March even so it was a lot more sophisticated and performed up to 5 times daily.

Die Parade wurde schließlich im Februar 2001 abgesetzt, als sich der Park auf die neue Disney's Toon Circus Parade vorbereitete, die am 31. März die Stelle von Mickey's Toon Time einnahm, obwohl sie sehr viel aufwendiger war und sogar bis zu 5 mal täglich präsentiert wurde.
