For several years Disneyland Paris already celebrates Guy Fawkes Night aka Bonfire Night with a large bonfire and fireworks at Lake Disney. Traditionally a huge bonfire structure had been errected in the center of the lake to be set ablaze by Mickey and Minnie arriving by boat followed by a firework display. Already since late last week floating structures holding loudspeaker towers aiming at the lake’s promenade in front of Disney’s Hotel New York and Disney’s Sequoia Lodge could be seen on the lake. Also a large disco / mirror ball had been placed on a platform in the lake. In addition five more -Â by Monday morning still empty – platforms could be spotted as well on the lake. (more…)
