Since its return to Discoveryland “Captain EO” on June 12, 2010 the attraction has been advertised with a small announcement at the bottom of the weekly entertainment program’s cover handed out to all guests. This was ment to compensate the fact that all park maps offered to guests still list “Honey, I Shrunk the Audience” instead of “Captain EO” as the maps for the period up to November 6 had been printed already earlier this spring. Captain EO – or not?
Friday, September 3rd, 2010Captain EO Update
Sunday, June 27th, 2010
As has been discussed here repeatedly Disneyland Paris late this spring decided to replace the badly ageing, rather un-popular 4D movie “Honey, I Shrunk the Audience” with a return of the former fan-favourite “Captain EO” – a 3D musical space extra-vaganza featuring Michael Jackson.

Then, just as at Tokyo Disney Resort the internal memo refers only to “Captain EO” and not to “Captain EO Tribute” as the attraction has been named at Disneyland Anaheim for its return there. But there is more in the memo…

However, so far the resort has NOT officially released any press release or advertising material confirming this move. However, … (more…)
