The times in which the same selection of burgers, fries and some more additional choices were served at nearly all the counter service restaurants of the parks, which made eating fast food in the resort kind of boring, are already gone some time.
But as mentioned here not long ago, the resort is still on its way to continue to diversify the variety of food that is offered in the different fast food and snack locations.
Now two smaller snack locations in Fantasyland, the “Old Mill”, at the small ferris wheel, the “Les Pirouettes du Vieux Moulin” close to the entrance of the Storybook area and the “March Hare Refreshment”, located in the middle of Fantasyland between the “Mad Hatters Tea Cups” and “Alice’s Curious Labyrinth” have undergone a “Food-Rehab”. Since 2009 Disneyland Paris has repeatedly run a promotion offering a free softdrink to be collected between 3 pm and 5 pm at selected counter service locations in the two theme parks. In fact the promotion has pretty much run continuously now with the exception of the winter months during which the free soft drink was replaced with a free hot drink.
How to get the free drink? Originally one free drink was offered with each receipt issued at a counter service location in the two parks during the morning and lunch hours. This program, while not advertised anywhere, still runs. Most lately the offer has been expanded to include receipts issued during the same time window in the shops of both parks (without any advertising as well). (more…)

Disney fans may know Earl of Sandwich from its location in Downtown Disney at Walt Disney World, Florida.
The chain’s arrival to the Disney Village had been predicted repeatedly in the past, but only now there seem to be some serious indicators that the project will actually move forward. Postinio posted on the Mousekingdom Forum concept drawings and a blue print for a new building to house the restaurant. Earlier this year the CafĂ© de la Brousse, a counter service location in African style huts offering only partialy covered outdoor seating along the shores of the lagoon in Adventureland, underwent an extensive rehab including a paint job and a new thatched roof – only to remain closed when the visible work was done. However, the past week saw the location finally open again!
Surprisingly the menu was kept pretty much unchanged even so the CafĂ© de la Brousse is now being presented by Dole (according to its own statement the world’s largest producer and marketer of fresh fruits and vegetables), i.e. mostly Hot Dogs, pre-packaged ice cream, soft drinks and some desserts.
