A 57 year old man wasn’t happy about his day in Disneyland Paris. After queue-ing in the rain the man didn’t like the idea of taking a seat on a wet attraction and thought it was a good idea to tell a cast member he is carrying a bomb. The Disney Cast Members took the necessary security measures by evacuating the general public while police where called to the scene. Dogs didn’t find any explosives but the man was taken in custody. This behavior will haunt him for life as he will most probably be banned for life, will now have a criminal record and could be fined for up to 30.000 Euro according to some news sites. This hoax happened this weekend, less then 24 hours after what had happened in Oslo, making it even more tasteless joke as it already is.
The park re-opened about 1 hour after the event.

Zombies are hot at the moment! So what better combo could their be then Disney and zombies? What? Might you think, but just have a look at the first poster of the next Terrorific Night event in the Walt Disney Studios. This will be the third time horror will find a place in the Disneyland Resort. Judging the amazing looking poster Disney fans who like a little horror will be in for a treat. Halloween will be just a little more scarier at Disneyland as it usually is. While the neighboring Disneyland Park has it’s own Halloween event, the Studios will turn up the fear notch a little more. Don’t expect a full horror event, but it will be intense and not a place for younger children. In the past events scare actors have been creating a little extra atmosFEAR and it’s to be expected Terrorific Night 3 will become their playland again. Let’s hope the zombies really run loose in the park, because if they do it will be a lot of fun.
This event will be a hard ticket event. Tickets will be on sale soon. Discount for Annual passport holders will be available. The event will take place on two nights in October 2011, that’s one night more then the previous year. The first night will be October 29 and if the zombies need more food they’ll find it on the second night, October 30. Enjoy your Halloween at the Walt Disney Studios, and remember, it’s just make believe… aaaarrrggghhhh……

It might be high season and the most expensive time to book any holiday, but it’s also sales season and will your holiday might cost you a little more you can catch some great deals in the Disney shops. All over the resort Disney items are sold with a nice discount. You will find deals in the Disneyland Park, the Walt Disney Studios and in the Disney Village. From T-Shirts to toys, from Figurines to key chains, there is something for everyone.
It might be the last lots, discontinued items or left overs from previous seasons, but the sales are a fun extra where you can find something a little cheaper to take home as a nice memory from the Disneyland trip.

… at the office inside the park as it is completely covered for renovation. The whole area is blocked of and the building is no longer accessible. Even the path in front of the building is completely blocked, forcing guests to walk right next to the Castle stage, an area that has been refurbished not so long ago.
But what about the Annual passes you might ask. Well, it has brought back to the old location outside the park at the Donald’s Desk. When you need to exchange your ticket, get a new Annual Pass or need to extend your existing pass you will have to go to the “old” location at the side of the ticket booths.
When you arrive at the Disneyland park and you are in front of the beautiful Disneyland hotel walk to the right side towards the hotel’s entrance. Just across the entrance, on the side of the Disneyland Park ticket booths, you will see a small office named Donald’s Desk. Until further notice, or until the refurbishment is finish, this will be the location to get your Annual Passes.

There is a lot of work going on in all the lands of the Disneyland park. In Adventureland we can see how the Colonel Hathi’s Pizza outpost is being taken care of. The whole building is covered with scaffolding.
The whole of the outside building is hidden and it looks like it will be for a while. Men are working hard to give the Colonel Hathi’s Pizza Outpost building a complete fresh look. The restaurant itself is open for service!

The Orbitron has been removed from its location in Discoveryland for a while but has now started to rise again. Disney is adding pieces of the Orbitron puzzle overnight. After the first night the black frame was back, after the second night the next piece was added.
Every night a new will find its way back into place until it is fully erect again and ready to re-open. With the speed those parts get back in place this re-opening of the attraction will not be far away anymore.
It’s only a matter of time before the green fences are gone and kids of all ages can take flight again.

It looks like captain Hook had some luck in his pirate life. He must have looted another ship, got some gold coins doing so and is now taking the time to get his ship all clean and ready for the next run. Scaffolding is surrounding the boat and men are hard at work to bring the ship back to its former glory. With some of the work already prepared the ship is now showing some holes, let’s hope there will be no tidal wave as water would pour into the ship…
