Remember when we reported on Wednesday that the old photo location at Alice’s Curious Labyrinth had disappeared and the new one – announced as part of the Disney Magical Moments festival – not yet appeared? Here is an update: while the actual labyrinth continues its rehab the photo location in the alcove in front of it (opposite of the March Hare Refreshments) has arrived. As you can see in a new video by YouTube user DisneyFilmparade embedded below the break the new photo location is much richer and extensive than the prior one which only consisted of the red throne and a chair by its side.
The new photo location includes Mad Hatter’s hat mounted above a chair to the left (on the photos) of the throne so that guests can sit down and it will look as if they are wearing the hat. Also in front of the throne and the chair a table decked out for Mad Hatter’s tea party has been installed with cups staked perilously high up, several tea pots and more – oh, and there is even the famous tea pot mouse looking out of one of the tea pots (the one closest to teh front of th table and thus in the foreground of any souvenir photos guests may take.
With the new addition the photo location now stretches out of the alcove a bit into the walkway, but both seats for guests (the “hat chair” and the throne”) are still located inside the alcove and thus under the glas roof in its ceiling allowing guests to take their photo also on a rainy day.
The Alice’s Tea Party is the second all new (or in this case majorly plussed) photo location that is available prior to the April 6 startz of the Disney Magical Moments Festival.
Thanks to the German fan board MainStreet Emporium where the YouTube video was brought to our attention!
