As reported on Monday with extensive photo coverage the complete rehab of the Sleeping Beauty Castle at the hear of Disneyland is coming along nicely. While the view on the lower half of the strucutre is mostly hidden behind the scaffolding and planes, work on the upper half can be spotted more easily. In particular the upper turrets seem to have received a new coating in bright rose / pink already.
Currently these repainted sections stop a bit above the stairs winding around the turrets, so that the older paint (which has gone a bit grey over the years) is still visible and shows off the difference perfectly.
However, there is still some work to do even in these visible areas … the paint job on the turrets has to be finished so that the new color extends all the way, the railings need repainting and also the roof tops are supposed to receive some attention as well.
