Your options for TONIGHT

If you are lucky and will be at Disneyland Paris for tonight you basically got three main Options how to celebrate: each of the two theme parks (option a & b) or in the Disney Hotels respective the Disney Village combined with fireworks over Lake Disney. We already told you about the latter option c yesterday, so on to a) and b)!

The Disneyland Park traditionally is the most busy option of the three as fans & first time guests alike love to ring in the New Year with fireworks over Sleeping Beauty Castle. As in the past years the soundtrack will be a slightly adjusted (ie shortened) version of the popular “Believe in Holiday Magic” fireworks from Disneyland, Anaheim – in Paris named “Believe in a Magic Holiday”. However, the actual fireworks will once again be a unique creation the French team.

Prior to the midnight fireworks starting at 10:00 pm a DJ party is celebrated on Main Street, U.S.A. and Central Plaza that resumes again after the fireworks till park closure at 1:00 am. Besides that the park offers the regular seasonal entertainment. Nevertheless the park will be packed again, especially on Main Street, U.S.A. in time for the fireworks – so arriving late is not recommendable.

The Walt Disney Studios on the other side should be much, much less crowded if last New Year’s Eve is any indication – despite using the same fireworks soundtrack and presenting a very similar (but slightly different in style while in scope identical) fireworks display “Believe in a Magic Holiday” at midnight. But then it is missing the castle as backdrop for it – instead the fireworks are shut from behind the Backlot, so guests will be bedtime positioned between Rock’n'Roller Coaster and Armageddon.

However, the resort has significantly upgraded the entertainment for the night attempting to establish the studios as THE location for guest who want to really party into the New Year. As can be seen in the photo a large stage has been set up in front if the entrance to the stunt show. Here the party will start at 7.00 pm with the first live performance of “Rody Mendez & 3nity Brothers” (which return at 7:45 and 8:30) who performed last year on the small stage on the Production Courtyard.

At 9:00, 10:00, 11:30 pm and 0:10 am a Video Dance Party will take over the large temporary stage, while at 9:30, 10:30 and 11:40 pm the “Lycky Dance Party” is scheduled. So will this lure you into the Studios tonight, do you stick with the tried and popular Disneyland Park or are you heading over to the Lake Disney?
