New Frontiers of Food

One of the most popular snacks in Disneyland parks around the world is Popcorn. Following the trend set in particular by the Disney parks in Japan and the US Disneyland Paris is for a while now already experimenting with unique popcorn flavors. The latest addition is the “Gingerbread” flavor available at the popcorn cart located next to the Lucky Nugget Lane in Thunder Mesa – i.e. in Frontierland, between the fort at the land’s main entrance and the riverboat landing. Just a few steps further along the shores of the Rivers of the Far West into the opposite direction another culinary surprise awaits guests…

… at the snack point located in the covered wagon opposite of the entrance to Big Thunder Mountain. In the past the location already stood out for offering baked potatoes which in the meantime are available from the snack cart in front of the Country Cookout Barbecue in Frontierland. Nowadays the snack wagon is lazing through new food frontiers with its hot chili sandwich that is offered in a menu with a drink of choice.

These latest additions to the snack offerings at two locations in Frontierland the resort once again continues its (already reported) move to offer a wide range of choices. After adding “exclusive” offerings to locations in Fantasyland it seems now it was time for Frontierland. Limiting availability of certain more unusual items to selected locations helps making a walk through the park a culinary expedition as well.
