Disney’s Newport Bay Club with its bright colors featuring several shades of white is one of the highlights adorning the shores of Lake Disney. However, the color scheme despite being based on the color scheme of the grand hotels of days gone by in New England is under constant assault by the climate at Disneyland Paris. It easily looks dirty or washed out due to weather influences. Lately at least the right half of the large hotel complex facing toward Lake Disney seems to have been undergoing some rehab and is once again shining in bright colors. Nevertheless, there is still work to be done. In particular the small light tower located directly at the lake’s shore and one of the popular photo locations could do with some cleaning and repainting.

Good to see some facade work – would love to see a room-refurbishment programme two (at least for the Admirals Floor which in my experience desperately needs some room-quality enhancements to justify the higher price!)
We have just returned from DLP and were shocked at the appearance of NBC. The lighthouse on the side of Lake Disney is actually falling apart. Many of the boards have slipped. It really will take so repairing. So sad.
