Walt Disney wanted to create a place where parents and children could play together, a place where parents wouldn’t have to sit down and wait until the children are done riding the merry-go-round. Now you find Disney parks all over the world where you can share the fun on the rides together, Where parents and children can ride together, where nobody has to sit on the side,… unless you’re not tall enough!
Some children wouldn’t want to go on these “scary” attractions, others are disappointed when they are turned down at the entrance of these attractions. So what’s the best solution when you can’t ride? Go shopping!
You can take a souvenir bobble head home reminding you how tall you have to be before you can go on the ride. A nice Idea for the children still waiting to grow bigger, but also nice for the Disney Park collectors who just like attraction novelties. The little one might not been able to ride, but with the new toy they can look forwards to the next visit when they see they hit the right hight.
The first one is Master Yoda. Yoda’s knowledge is uncanny, his powers are amazing and he has proven that he can wield a lightsabre like no other. But if he would want to ride Start Tours he will be disappointed. Yoda isn’t tall enough and shows his displeasure about this on the first bobble head in the series. Yoda is wearing some Mickey hats on the figure, still posing well under the 1 m 02 mark on the sign. The bobble head comes with the warning sign “you must be this tall to ride the ride”. It’s the same warning you’ll find on the other two bobble heads too.
The second one is the one for Space Mountain Mission 2. This bobble head shows Donald, all geared up and ready to go to space. He stands well below the 1 m 32 requirement mark and isn’t happy at all. The extra fun thing about this figure is the fact that it has been produced for Disneyland Paris only as it shows the SM2 logo on it. Clearly not the case with the Yoda figure and the third figure that has been on sale in the US parks for some time already.
The third figure has Stitch on it. He is posing for the Tower of Terror Bobble head. Even sitting on a couple of boxes will not help to convince anybody to let him on the attraction. However, knowing Stitch, he’ll find a way to get on the ride without anybody noticing.
The figures are fun collectibles that will enhance your Disneyland Paris visit, even if you weren’t allowed to go on the attraction. Figures are sold for 15 Euro a piece and will be available in select resort shops.

Did you notice the “DM” sign at the top of the Space-Mountain-Donald figure? Could this refer to “Discovery Mountain”?
this is a brilliant idea- i would have loved one of these when i was waiting to be tall enough for space mountain– and i love that this is a new piece of merchandise that has kept the discovery mountain ‘DM’ on it!
Do you know which shops they’re being sold at?
