The times in which the same selection of burgers, fries and some more additional choices were served at nearly all the counter service restaurants of the parks, which made eating fast food in the resort kind of boring, are already gone some time.
But as mentioned here not long ago, the resort is still on its way to continue to diversify the variety of food that is offered in the different fast food and snack locations.
Now two smaller snack locations in Fantasyland, the “Old Mill”, at the small ferris wheel, the “Les Pirouettes du Vieux Moulin” close to the entrance of the Storybook area and the “March Hare Refreshment”, located in the middle of Fantasyland between the “Mad Hatters Tea Cups” and “Alice’s Curious Labyrinth” have undergone a “Food-Rehab”.
The Old Mill is now serving several Paninis – Ciabatta-style sandwiches – e.g. with ham and goat cheese and with 3 cheeses, that are freshly toasted in a sandwich toaster when ordered by a guest to let the cheese melt to perfection. Besides these a standard variety of side-dishes is offered.
The “March Hare Refreshment” now offers cups of hot pasta with Bolognese Sauce to guests exiting Alice’s Labyrinth.
By the way: rumors that the “Mad Hatters Tea Cups” attraction will be renamed to “Luigis wild Pasta-Cup Ride” are with out any substance – as far as we have been informed.
