As DLP.info already reported earlier Toy Story Playland will be opening its gates to visitors officially on August, 17th - less than two month from now. But so far no official signs for the opening could be found anywhere in the resort. However, this has recently changed and the opening date of the new area in the Walt Disney Studios is now announced in one single place of the resort!
A big poster has been put in place over the walkway leading from the entrance plaza between the parks, the train station and the Disney Village to the main car park in order to be visible for any one-day guests leaving the resort – and to wet the guests’ appetite to come back soon after the new attractions will have opened their gates.
A final note to those hoping for any previews of the mini-land in the next weeks: the area is currently still controlled by / under the responsibility of Imagineering and – as construction work still continues – not yet turned over to the park’s operaton team.
