Celebrating Christmas Day at Disney Village

The Christmas Season is maybe the most magical time to visit Disneyland Paris, with whimsical decorations in both theme parks as well as the hotels and special entertainment throughout the resort, in particular certainly the Disneyland Park. Certainly the resort is offering the guests of the Disney Hotels on December 24th options for a festive dinner to celebrate in style. Now the Disney Village has announced its offers for this occassion as well – one of which can be enjoyed by every guest for free.

As of 7 pm the three musicians “Les Tous Debout” will stroll on stilts through the streets of the Disney Village entertaining guests passing by with traditional christmas songs. Those still looking for a christmas dinner could opt for La Grange, the restaurant in Billy Bob’s which is offering a special Christmas Buffet on December 24th as of 6 pm (adults: EUR 33.30, children 14.20; prior reservation highly recommended by telephone at (0)160304050). On the 25th the restaurant’s offering is back to its regular buffet, but the Billy Bob’s saloon on ground level hosts a unique Christmas concert as of 9.30 pm with “The Chrismasters of Rock’n'Roll” performing rock’n'roll covers of christmas classics (no entrance fee / cover charge).

The Hurricane’s night club is surprising guests with the “Christmas DJ Kids Party” on both days (24th and 25th of December). The “party” is actually more than just a dance along party with a DJ (who gets special support by a funny snowman). It also includes a visit from Santa Claus himself, a face make-up set-up and a magic show – plus: a christmas buffet for the kids and any parent coming along. The party starts twice per day (once at 6 pm and once at 9 pm), the entrance fee includes the entertainment and the buffet and ranges from EUR 46.60 to 84.80 for adults and EUR 19.00 to 46.60 for children (first seating cheaper than second seating; 25th cheaper than 24th).

Certainly the Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show also has worked some special magic on their menu for the 24th and all restaurants in the Disney Village are also offering dinner on Christmas Day.

Sounds like DLP are making more effort than ever to make everyones Christmas magical, in these hard financial times, I’m sure the extra Christmas Cheer will go down well! Having said that, the event at Hurricane’s could be a bit costly to a family, like most of Christmas, I suppose!!
