As reported recently Dyson Airblades – said to be more effective and less energy consuming than usual air dryers – have been installed in the restrooms at the Adventureland Bazaar.
Now it looks like the persons in charge where satisfied with the tests of the Airblades and decided to use them in more of the parks toilets.
In ongoing work the Dyson Airblades – a hand-dryer in which guests have to put their hands inside instead of below – are installed at more and more restrooms throughout the parks in exchange for the old air-dryers.
Another new kind of hand dryer, produced by Mitsubishi, was also tested at the resort – and can still be found in at least one toilet – seems to have lost the competition against Dyson’s product.
In opposition to the positive aspects of being far less energy consuming and through that to help the resort in its efforts to protect the environment and cut energy costs only one downside has been reported so far. The new dryers are much louder than the old ones used to be.

Yes, they are noisy beasts! But they are fast, meaning you can get your hands dry and back out into the park all the quicker, which is always a good thing!
I hope they put enough in though, I have noticed that children seem to find them fascinating and tend to “play” with them!
These machines are great. They also have them in the Disneyvillage restrooms. First saw them this year on Zaventem airport though.
These dryers are used by big corporate organisations such as Wetherspoons and Butlins to name a few and are loud as mentioned before but if they help to reduce costs and improve profits we should see much more construction on resort very soon!
These are great, I see them in the UK a lot, and they’re a lot more effective than traditional dryers.
However, there’s at least one in DiscoveryLand where it’s been placed directly below a paper towel dispenser, so you cant actually put your hands in the dryer without having to lean back from the towel dispenser in your face!
