Did you miss the big summer sale all over the resort in July? No need to worry - if you are about to visit the resort no later than August 30 (which would be next Sunday) you are in luck as a second big summer sale is going on (since August 3). The usual red “Promotion” signs can be found on select displays in shops throughout the Disneyland Park (and in smaller numbers also in the remainder of the resort).
Discounts given in percentage are up to 30% for selected merchandise and cover various items, including also new merchandise introduced only earlier this year and frequently featuring designs related to this year’s theme “Mickey’s Magical Party Time” – such as the beach towels. However, not all items discounted are part of the “MMPT”-merchandise and not all of them are summer items.
Included are – amongst others – also items such as knitted sweaters.
As usual not all discounts are advertised with “percentages off”. Especially (but not only) for cheaper items already originally below EUR 10.00 instead signs indicating “prior price versus new price” have been added to the displays. With these items can sometimes even save up to 50% compared to the original price.
