The Starbucks Coffee shop in the Disney Village will officially open it’s doors tomorrow, Saturday June 20th, at 8.00 pm. To celebrate the opening of the very first Starbucks’ location inside a Disney resort worldwide and the new addition to the Disney Village the coffee house is – just as this news is being typed – celebrating a party in the new location with invited guests. Those not invited however are not forgotten as Starbucks is handing out small samples of selected coffee specialities (that are being offered as of tomorrow in the new location) to all guests passing by the new location in the Disney Village.

In the last days since our last update not only was the interior finished but also extra seating (and tables) outside the building, once the construction fence had been taken down in the past days. Also the exterior lighting was tested already in the last nights.

In addition to the letters above the entrance and a small light up version of the current logo of Starbucks the large bronze colored logo on the top of the building is also tastefully illuminated from the back. For all those wandering: the bronze logo consisting of a full-body representation of a mermaid is one of the original logos used by Starbucks Coffee before it became an international chain.
