Situated behind those shops to the right hand side of guests entering the park, this arcade gives access to Disney Clothiers, Market House Deli, Cable Car Bake Shop and Victoria's Home-Style Restaurant. It is also home to the Silhouette Artist, The Coffee Grinder, Ice Cream Company and services including toilets, telephones and ATM machines.
Situated on the same side of the park as Discoveryland, Discovery Arcade pays homage to the inventions of the past and show how they have shaped the world we are now a part of. Glass cabinets display dozens of models ranging
from sewing machines to locomotives whilst huge vintage posters depict illustration of how the visionaries of the past envisioned the world today, with retro buildings and flying cars.
Real gas lanterns help create the period style atmosphere and moldings are based on DaVinci's picture of man.

 Guests visiting Tokyo Disneyland enter the park through "World Bazaar". This area is similar to Main Street U.S.A, with its shops and theming but with one major difference: the addition of a large glass roof which covers the whole of the street.
As Tokyo does not benefit from the almost year round sunshine guests could find in the previous Magic Kingdom locations (in Florida and California) the addition of the roof ensures that guests can seek refuge from the sometime
showery conditions in an area which offers shops and restaurants in an undercover environment.
When Disney chose France to host its 4th Magic Kingdom it was obvious that its climate had more in common the Japanese park that those in the States which also made it a good candidate for a similar roofed area but Disney's famous attraction designers (the Imagineers) soon decided otherwise.
Firstly due to the roof design of the "Main Street" area in Tokyo many people felt it lost much of its atmosphere resulting in an almost "shopping
mall" environment rather than that of a living street. Secondly Imagineers recognized the European love of eating outside with the Paris boulevards just a short journey away crammed with street side cafes and bistros.
Disney wanted the street to remain open air, retaining all of its natural charm and character. But at the same time create areas where guests could relax with a coffee and pass between the shops on Main Street completely undercover on inclement days. Two uniquely themed covered arcades which run behind the shops on either side of the street offered just this.
