Hidden away at the back of the Fantasyland, Toad Hall is a stately looking house which is home a restaurant offering the English favourite Fish and Chips.
The small interior seating area is contained within two main rooms of the house filled with book lined walls and trophies won by Mr Toad, maybe for motor racing. One room even includes a "magic painting" of Mr Toad that appears to change from one picture to another as guest's watch.
In the small service area, lit by flickering candle light, guests can order from a selection, which includes fish and chips and roast beef sandwiches.

Etwas versteckt im hinteren Teil von Fantasyland gelegen, ist Toad Hall ein stattliches Herrenhaus, welches ein Schnellestaurant beherbergt, das sich auf das englische Nationalgericht Fish & Chips spezialisiert hat.
Gäste können hier in zwei Räumen des Hauses essen, an deren Wänden Regale voller Bücher und Siegestrophäen von J. Thaddäus Kröte, dem Hausherren, stehen - die er wohl bei seinen verrückten Hobbys gewonnen hat. Einen der beiden Räume schmückt sogar ein "magisches Gemälde" von Kröte, das sich vor den Augen der Gäste ständig ändert.
Der Bereich vor der kleinen Theke wird von flackerndem Kerzenlicht erhellt. Hier können die Gäste dieses Restaurants aus einer Auswahl an Fish und Chips sowie Roast Beef und Sandwiches wählen.

This special restaurant is themed to the Disney version of Kenneth Grahame's classical tale "The Wind in the Willows", which was written in 1908. 41 years later, the Disney animators put that charming story into their 1949 release "The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad", a featurette movie which also featured another classical tale, Washington Irving's "Legend of Sleepy Hollow".
Disney's version of Mr. Toad's tale is a beautifully crafted cartoon with probably the best work the studio did during the late 1940's. Indeed, some film historians claim that this half-hour segment of "The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad" brought Disney animation back to its old strength after a series of more or less mediocre movies during the years of and after World War II like "Make Mine Music" and "Fun and Fancy Free". And just four months after this movie, Disney's masterpiece "Cinderella" was released and the rest is now animation history...

Disneys Version von Krötes Geschichte ist ein wunderschön gezeichneter Cartoon, mit der wohl besten Arbeit, die das Studio Ende der 1940er Jahre geleistet hat. Tatsächlich behaupten einige Filmhistoriker, dass dieses halbstündige Segment aus "Die Abenteuer von Ichabod und Thaddäus Kröte" den Disneytrickfilm nach mittelmäßigen Filmen wie "Make Mine Music" und "Fun and Fancy Free" während und nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg zu seiner alten Form erstarken ließ. Und wirklich: nur vier Monate nach diesem Film kam Disneys Meisterwerk "Cinderella" in die Kinos und der Rest ist Trickfilmgeschichte...
