This beautiful hotel is the flagship of Disneyland Paris and has a dream location situated right at the entrance of the Magic Kingdom, a first for any Disney park. The hotel has been created by the Imagineer's and with its turn of the century Victorian style, pastel pink color, gabled roofs and bay windows fits perfectly in the Disney magic.
The hotel is an eye caster from the moment you enter the resort by car or by train. It is an invitation to the magical world of Disney for those entering it for the first time as well for those guest that make multiple visits. The beautiful hotel is a fairy tale place that will be a part of a Disneyland visit for every guest, even if not staying there.
In front of this magnificent hotel are the Fantasia Gardens. The perfect spot to take a first picture and to take a moment and enjoy the wonderful architecture of the hotel. In the center, on top of the hotel, you can see a big Mickey Mouse clock, welcoming you to Disneyland. Time to walk under the hotel into the park, or to go to the right hand side where the main entrance is located.
The hotel is designed in three sections. The main building above the Disneyland entrance where you will find the restaurants, the bar and the wonderful suites and the two wings where you'll find the “regular” rooms, a beautiful lobby, the pool and other amenities.
The main lobby is gorgeous, warm and very welcoming. Guests are pampered from the moment they enter this fantastic lobby. The big stairs are a wonderful view and the seating areas and Disney art in the lobby are a nice extra that makes this place a heavenly retreat.
The Disneyland hotel can welcome you in one of its 500 rooms. All rooms are decorated with the same pastel colors as the once found in the rest of the hotel. Part of the decoration is Tinker Bell, who is carved in the wooden wardrobes in the room. The rooms are suitable for families up to 4. There are 2 double beds in every room, with some rooms featuring 1 king size bed. Views can vary from a (partly) park view to a Fantasia Garden view. Of course all rooms include Television, Telephone, air conditioning and a 24 hour room service.
Castle Club and Suites
Want to feel like a real princess or a prince? You will when you book one of the amazing suites in the castle club of the hotel. The castle club is located on the top 2 floors of the middle main building of the hotel. It has a private elevator that will bring you straight to the entrance of the Disneyland park and straight back to the castle club after a busy day. The elevator works with you castle club room key. The suites are located on both side of the building, those being at the park side offering an amazing view of the park an the castle. The club has its own reception desk, a private breakfast room and a bar where refreshments and soft drinks are offered the whole day.
Sleeping Beauty Suite
The fairy tale suite in the middle of the castle club with the best view of the wonderful castle. Luxury with open fireplace, a piano, jacuzzi and a dining room. The room is 187m2 and can accommodate up to 10 people.
This 112m2 suite has a king size bed and a whirlpool, a wonderful place to come to rest after an eventful Disney day. This suite also has the wonderful Disneyland view
Tinker Bell Suite
The London of the 19th century with a Peter Pan theme can be found on the Fantasia Garden side of the Castle Club floor. The suite is 69m2 and has 1 bedroom with a double bed and a living quarters. Up to 4 can sleep in this suite.
Walt's Apartment Suite
A 82m2 suite with a 19th century decoration. One bedroom with double bed and a living room big enough to accompany the rest of the family.
Your” regular” suites for 2 to 4 persons are located in the west and east wing of the hotel but with all the amenities of the Castle Club.
Services & Amenities
The hotel has 2 restaurant and 1 bar located in the middle of the main building.
This is Disney most exclusive restaurant on the resort. The California Grill offers wonderful foods from the west coast U.S.A. Cuisine with a French touch. The food is exquisite! The Grill has a very nice wine list too with wines from all over the world, including some wonderful Californian wine. The prices are fixed but once wine has added expect to pay close or over a three figure total. Children menu's are available but adult looking to a fine dining experience might find it difficult to entertain little children for that long.
The restaurant has some spectacular views of the park.
The restaurant offers the best buffet style from the resort. From starters to a wide selection of main dishes, there is something for everybody on this long buffet. The highlight for most visitors, especially the children, will the be big dessert buffet where there are more chocolates, cakes and puddings to choose from as one can eat. During this dining experience characters are roaming the restaurant and visit every table for a little extra magic.
The restaurant is also used for breakfast
the small but nice café Fantasia extends itself into the middle of the building. It offers drinks, cocktails and some small snacks. It's a nice retreat when one would like to get away from a busy afternoon park.
Gallery Mickey is located on the second floor of the hotel. You'll find some of your standard Disney park items and some nice Disney clothing it is well worth a visit if you like the Disney Classic Collection as they have always some very nice pieces on display.
Tips & Specials
During the day characters come and visit the hotel lobby to dance and play with everybody who is there. Not limited to hotel guests it's a golden tip to be in the hotel when the characters visit. Attendance is low and queues non existing compared to those in the parks. Wonderful photo opportunities in a magical setting.
The pool is very small and can be very crowded during peak hours. Visit the pool during early afternoon when most guest are in the park to enjoy it the most.
Restaurant reservations is an absolute must, especially if you want to dine with younger children on an early time frame.
