The really huge model showed most of the resort area. The only part not visible in this shot ist the Disney's Davy Crockett Ranch / future Nature Village site, which is cut off from the main area of the resort by the motorway. Depicted is the resort and the surrounding area as it is currently expected to look sometime between 2008 and 2010. In the foreground of this photo Magny le Hongre and Golf Disney can be seen. In diesem Photo als einziges nicht zu sehen ist Disney's Davy Crockett Ranch / die zukünftigen Nature Villages Location, liegt sie doch auf der anderen Seite der Autobahn. Dargestellt wird der erwartete Ausbau des Resorts und der Umgebung für den Zeitraum 2008 bis 2010. Im Vordergrund dieses Photos ist Magny le Hongre und Golf Disney zu erkennen.	And another perspective which gives a great impression of the size of the model. It is also the only shot in this set which includes the area of Disney's Davy Crockett Ranch. It is interesting to note, that even so by 2008 / 2010 the Nature Villages project is supposed to have moved ahead this modell does not show any of the according plans but instead the Ranch as it is now.	Und eine weitere, neue Perspektive aus der sich die Größe des Modells erahnen lässt. Dies ist die einzige Aufnahme die den Bereich von Disney's Davy Crockett Ranch zeigt. Interessanterweise ist die Ranch im aktuellen Zustand dort zu erkennen, obwohl bis 2008 / 2010 das Nature Village Projekt bereits umgesetzt sein sollte und damit weitere Gebäude entstehen würden.

A nearly "classical" view across the "classical" part of the resort - the Disneyland Park with most of the backstage area at the bottom of the photos, the Walt Disney Studios, the Disney Village, the Disney Hotels around Lake Disney, all the way to Val de France and even Golf Disney in the top right corner of the photo. The lower building in front of the future parking structure of the Disney Village is rather good visible here.	Ein nahezu "klassischer" Blick über den "klassischen" Teil des Resorts - den Disneyland Park mit den meisten Backstage-Einrichtungen am unteren Bildrand, die Walt Disney Studios, das Disney Village, die Disney Hotels rund um den Lake Disney, bis hin zum Val de France und sogar Golf Disney in der oberen, rechten Ecke. Gut zu erkennen ist hier auch das flachere Gebäude vor dem Village Parkhaus.	The giant model was not so much meant as a detailed preview of the upcoming expansions but as a rough overview giving an impressions of the volume of to be errected buildings. Seen here is a general overview of the main section of the model. If you take a close look you can see several small buildings near the top left corner in the middle of the golf club. This is the Marriott Vacation Club Village.	Das riesige Modell war nicht so sehr als detailgetreue Vorschau der zukünftigen Erweiterungen gedacht, sondern mehr als grober Überblick über das Volumen der zu errichtenden Gebäude. Hier ist das Hauptelement des Modells zu sehen. Ein genauer Blick in die obere linke Ecke zeigt dort eine Reihe kleiner Gebäude in mitten des Golf-Clubs. Dabei handelt es sich um das Marriott Vacation Club Village.

Golf Disney will be sandwiched between two of the villages on / next to the resort area. In the upper half of the golf course three accomodation complexes are planned according to this modell. One smaller and one larger accumulation of several small buildings (one of these is the Marriott Vaction Club Village) and one hotel, which is the more massive structure. There is more room for similar projects in the center of the lower half of the golf course but this area is still sitting empty.	Golf Disney wird mehr oder weniger zwischen zwei der Gemeinden auf / an dem Resort Gelände eingequetscht sein. In der oberen Hälfte der Anlage befinden sich drei geplante Hotelbereiche. Eine kleinere und eine größere Ansammlung mehrerer Einzelgebäude (eine davon das Marriott Vacation Club Village) sowie ein Hotel (der größere Komplexe im Golfgelände). Inmitten der unteren Hälfte des Golfkurses ist mehr Raum für derartige Projekte, doch noch sind sie nicht im Modell zu sehen.	Val de France, the section of non-Disney operated hotels on resort property, is expected to be growing too. The four detailed structures are the three already operating hotels and the Dreamcastle Hotel opening this June. The two smaller, not detailed sets of buildings are stand-ins for the two future hotel projects which the resort would like to see developed here but for which no exact plans exists so far. The gray area near the top is a part of an overflow parking lot for the parks.	Val de France, der Bereich für die Nicht-Disney-geführten Hotels im Resort soll auch weiter wachsen. Zu sehen sind hier vier detaillierte Modelle der drei schon eröffneten Hotels und des Dreamcastle Hotels, das diesen Juni eröffnet. Daneben finden sich zwei einfachere Modelle, die als Platzhalter für zwei zukünftige Hotelprojekte dienen, für die es noch keine genauen Pläne gibt. Der graue Bereich am oberen Bildrand gehört übrigens zu einem Erweiterungsgelände des Themenparkparkplatzes.

That is a row of several buildings. Most of the building "below" the shopping mall, toward the theme parks, and to the right of the railroad tracks are not yet constructed.	Ein näherer Blick auf das Zentrum von Val d'Europe mit dem Einkaufszentrum und den Bahngleisen. Bei dem Einkaufszentrum handelt es sich um das langgezogene Gebäude über den Schienen. Die meisten Gebäude unterhalb des Einkaufszentrums zu den Themenparks hin, sowie rechts der Bahngleise sind noch nicht fertiggestellt.	More or less the same area of teh model, Val d'Europe, as seen from the other side. In this perspective it is easier to see how the buildings of Val d'Europe crawl toward Disney's Newport Bay Club. But: the structures nearest to the hotel are still rather featureless, which means they are in a very early planning phase.	Nahezu der selbe Ausschnitt von Val d'Europe aus der gegenüberliegenden Sicht gesehen. In dieser Perspektive ist gut zu erkennen, wie die Gebäude sich in Richtung Disney's Newport Bay Club erstrecken. Allerdings sind die Gebäude nahe am Hotel noch ohne Details, was bedeutet, dass sie in einer frühen Planungsphase sind.

Several new buildings are filling the space to the right off Disney's Newport Bayclub toward Val d'Europe. The most massive one believed to be the long talked about convention / trade fair building. Verschiedene neue Gebäude sind rechts von Disney's Newport Bayclub in Richtung Val d'Europe zu sehen. Das größte hier zu sehende ist wohl die schon oft erwähnte Konferenz/Messe-Halle. This shows rather good, how the new buildings to the right of Disney's Newport Bay Club fill the gap toward Val d'Europe.	Ein Überblick über den Resortbereich zwischen dem Disneyland Hotel (am unteren Bildrand), den Walt Disney Studios rechts, unterhalb der Bahngleise, der Bahnstation sowie dem Disney Village. Gut zu erkennen auch, wie die neuen Gebäude rechts von Disney's Newport Bayclub den Anschluss zu Val d'Europe herstellen.

This close-up of the Disney Village reveals some interesting news: first of all the current Village parkinglot in the area next to Disney's Newport Bayclub is still shown here, even so the new parking garage over the railroad tracks is included too. So the new Disney Hotel expected to go up in the place of the parking lot seems to be no immediate expansion plan anymore. Also the Disney Village Dome tents are still there. But there are also three additional new buildings inside the village: one in this photo hard to see is found right in front of the new parking garage and is a lot lower than the garage. The next one with some kind of tower is to the left of that first building, build right wall to wall with the Gaumont multiplex. The third new building is found behind the multiplex.		Die Nahaufnahme des Disney Village zeigt interessante Entwicklungen: so ist der Village Parkplatz neben Disney's Newport Bayclub noch immer zu erkennen, obwohl das neue Parkhaus über den Bahngleisen auch zu sehen ist. Daraus ist zu schließen, dass das neue Disney Hotel, das den Parkplatz ersetzen sollte, vorerst nicht gebaut werden wird. Ebenfalls noch zu erkennen sind die Disney Village Dome Zelte. Im Village sind aber auch drei neue Gebäude auszumachen: schwer in diesem Photo zu erkennen ist das niedrige Gebäude vor (unterhalb) des neuen Parkhauses. Besser zu erkennen schon das Gebäude links von diesem ersten. Mit einem Turm oder ähnlichem versehen, scheint es Mauer an Mauer mit dem Gaumont Multiplex gebaut zu sein, hinter dem (oberhalb des) das dritte neue Gebäude zu sehen ist.

Nothing new to see in the part of the model that depicts the Disneyland Park, but at least a nice overview about the major buildings behind the facades... This shows clearly how few details the modell actually shows, as even existing structures are missing as e.g. the Frontierland Depot or the Chaparral Stage. The rectangular, grey space backstage to the right of Star Tours is were the Disneyland Pavillion is located, a tent used for conventions and private events. This is where the AGM 2004 took place, too.	Nichts neues zeigt das Modell des Disneyland Parks, aber immerhin gibt es einen netten Überblick über die Gebäude hinter den Fassaden... Gut zu erkennen ist, wie wenig Details das Modell aufweist. Selbst existierende Gebäude fehlen teilweise, wie z.B. das Frontierland Depot oder die Chaparral Stage. Der rechteckige, graue Platz Backstage, rechts neben Star Tours ist mit dem Disneyland Pavillion belegt, einem Zelt, das für Konferenzen und private Veranstaltungen wie das AGM 2004 genutzt wird.	The missing details are even more obvious in the Walt Disney Studios Park section of the model, which certainly does not reveal any expansion plans for the second theme park. Several structures are missing: the Reign of Fire set, the Toilets of Terror, the Production Courtyard Stage, La Terrasse, the roof for the cars on display along the Tram Tour route and even The Flying Carpets over Agrabah!	Die fehlenden Details des Modells sind im Walt Disney Studios Park Abschnitt besonders deutlich - natürlich sind auch hier keine Erweiterungspläne für neue Attraktionen für den zweiten Park zu erkennen... Verschiedene Gebäude fehlen in dem Modell: die Reign of Fire Kulissen, die Toilets of Terror, die Production Courtyard Stage, La Terrasse, die Überdachung für die Wagen entlang der Tram Tour Route und sogar die lying Carpets over Agrabah!
