The magic worlds of a Disney theme park are the result of millions and millions hours of hard work - from the first visions and sketches till the opening ceremony - and beyond as a Disney theme park is never finished. So even the grand opening of the Walt Disney Studios is already history, there are still / again construction works going on and will be going on in the future...

Die zauberhaften Welten der Disney Themenparks sind das Resultat Tausender und Abertausender Stunden harter Arbeit - von den ersten Visionen und Entwürfen bis hin zur Eröffnungszeremonie - und darüber hinaus, denn ein Disney Themenpark ist niemals fertiggestellt. Also auch wenn das Grand Opening der Walt Disney Studios bereits Geschichte ist, finden noch bzw. wieder Bauarbeiten im Park statt und werden es auch in der Zukunft...

The mistery is solved - according to the newest edition of the park maps for the Studios the building under construction next to Armageddon is in fact meant to house toilets and some service rooms ... but if you look at the detail and style of the themeing that is applied ...	Das Geheimnis ist gelüftet - laut den neuesten Parkplänen für die Studios wird das Gebäude, das direkt neben Armageddon entsteht, wirklich Toiletten und Service-Räume berherbergen ... ein Blick auf die Details und den Stil des Themeings aber ...

... and at the fact that the warm sand-colors are applied to the whole front, it is highly propable that the building is already prepared to fit into the future surroundings of a Tower of Terror that could go up in the open space to the right of the new lavratories building.	... ebenso wie ein Blick darauf, dass das gesamte Gebäude in den warmen Sandtönen gestaltet wird, lässt die Vermutung naheliegen, dass hier alles vorbereitet wird, damit es in das zukünftige Umfeld eines Tower of Terror passt.	In the warm sun the colors of the small turrets near the buildings roof look beautiful. Note that the decoration pattern is also used at La Terasse the supposed entrance int he future ToT-area.	Im Sonnenlicht strahlen die Türme am Dach des Gebäudes nahezu. Man beachte auch, dass die Dekoelemente auch bei La Terasse verwandt wurden, dem vermuteten Eingang in den ToT-Bereich.	One mistery solved, a new mistery appearing! As soon as the plants had been added to the Disney Bros. Plaza behind the Studio 1 everyone expected a statue to be added to the center of the plaza due to the planting pattern ... now something is going on there!	Ein Geheimnis gelüftet und ein neues Geheimnis taucht auf! Sowie die Bepflanzung der Disney Bros. Plaza hinter Studio 1 abgeschlossen war, vermutete auf Grund der Form der Bepflanzung jeder, dass hier bald eine Statue ergänzt würde ... und nun haben Arbeiten begonnen!

The decoration of the walls seems finished now from this viewpoint and work has started on the roof of the building. On the flat roof some cubical devices have been placed, most propably air conditioning systems or similar stuff...	Nachdem die Dekoration der Wände aus dieser Perspektive abgeschlossen scheint, haben die Arbeiten am Dach begonnen. Auf dem Flachdach wurden mehrere kastenförmige Geräte positioniert - wohl Klimaanlagen oder ähnliches...	... these will soon be hidden from view as the basic structure to support a fake roof covering the cubicles from the sides is already being prepared as this photo details.	... die schon bald nicht mehr zu sehen sein werden, da schon die tragende Struktur für ein Dachverblendung installiert wird, die den Blick von den Seiten auf die Geräte verhindert.	Once the temporary construction walls are taken down the queue-line for Armageddon will be expanded again. Note the cables in the wall indicating the addition of lights toward the line.	Sowie der Bauzaun abgebaut ist, wird der Wartebereich von Armageddon wieder komplett zur Verfügung stehen. Auffällig sind die Kabel in der Wand, die auf eine Beleuchtung für den Wartebereich hindeuten.

Even so only a service structure the amount of detail and themeing will be on par with the experience on the Frontlot of the Studios as this close-up of one of the small turrets on the corners of the building indicates.	Obwohl es sich nur um Service-Gebäude handelt, ist der Detailreichtum und das Themeing auf einem Level mit dem Frontlot der Studios, wie diese Nahaufnahme eines der Türme an den Gebäude-Ecken zeigt.	For once construction was lightning fast - only one week after the covered base appeared on the Disney Bros. Plaza (see update above) the Partners Statue has appeared with Walt Disney and Mickey. It is an exact replica from the onefound in front of the castle at the Magic Kingdoms in WDW, Anaheim and Tokyo.	Diesesmal waren die Bauarbeiten schnell wie ein Blitz - nur eine Woche nachdem die abgedeckte Basis auftauchte ist nun die Parters Statue auf dem Disney Bros. Plaza zu bewundern mit Walt Disney und Mickey, eine exakte Kopie der Statue aus den Magic Kingdoms in WDW, Anaheim und Tokyo.

This photo from inside the future expansion area shows some very interesting new progress, as next to the Armageddon building a new concrete building with still uncovered walls has sprung up (behind the small piles of earth, the left building). This one forms an L together with the building which's progress we monitored through the updates here closely. It will therefore be the building guests will walk straight toward when walking through still closed gates next to the building seen on the photos above. With the combined size of these two connected buildings it becomes more and more obvious that the structure most propably will house more than toilets - at least some additional service facilities...	Dieses Photos aus dem Inneren des zukünftigen Erweiterungsareals zeigt eine interessante neue Entwicklung: neben dem Armageddon Gebäude ist ein weiteres Betongebäude entstanden mit zur Zeit noch unverputzten Wänden (das linke Gebäude hinter den Erdhaufen). Dieses bildet mit dem Gebäude, dessen Fortschritt in den Updates hier zu verfolgen war, ein L, d.h. Gäste die durch das noch geschlossene Tor an der Baustelle schreiten werden, gehen dann direkt auf dieses zweite Gebäude zu. Bedenkt man die Gesamtgröße der beiden verbundenen Neubauten, so wird deutlich, dass hier mehr als nur Toiletten untergebracht sein müssen - mindestens noch weitere Service-Anlagen...

This shot is not only great looking with a colorful sky as the perfect backdrop for the already great looking new building - it also shows the progress with the fake roof. The air conditioning(?) is already hidden from view buy the roof-truss which will soon be covered with the tiles already prepared.	Dieses Photo ist nicht nur äußerst stimmungsvoll mit dem farbenprächtigen Photo vor dem schon sehr gut aussehenden Gebäude - nein, es zeigt auch den Fortschritt des Daches. So verdeckt der Dachstuhl bereits den Blick auf die Klimaanlage(?) und auch die Dachziegeln liegen schon bereit.

Since the "fake" roof-truss has been finished on all sides of the roof guests currently can see, workers are now adding the tiles...	Nachdem der "falsche" Dachstuhl auf allen zur Zeit einsehbaren Seiten fertig gestellt wurde, werden nun die Dachziegeln aufgelegt...	... which are of the same style / look as those used at the roofs of La Terrasse clearly indicating that the whole area will form one big block.	... die den für die Dächer im Bereich La Terrasse entsprechen, was klar zeigt, dass der gesamte Bereich zusammengehörig sein wird.

Ladies and Gentleman, Boys and Girls ... the Walt Disney Studios proudly present ... the Toiletts of Terror ;-) The new toilett structure next to Armageddon on the area reportedly earmarked for the Tower of Terror last week was opened to the public...	Meine Damen und Herren, liebe Mädchen und Jungs ... die Walt Disney Studios präsentieren ... die Toiletts of Terror ;-) Die neuen Toiletten neben Armageddon auf der vermutlich für den Tower of Terror reservierten Fläche öffneten letzten Woche...	Construction seems finished - only one question mark currently looms over the building: why was a mesh placed over the tiles giving thema tourquise color even so no such mess was in place during the construction as seen above??	Die Bauarbeiten sind scheinbar beendet - und nur eine Frage bleibt noch: wieso wurde ein Netz über die Dachziegeln gespannt, das ihnen eine türkise Farbe gibt? Während der Bauarbeiten war davon noch nichts zu sehen!

The themeing is detail rich all throughout the structure and uses the design elements from the La Terrasse area and the fence sourrunding the area.	Die Gestaltung ist überall detailreich und greift die Design-Elemente von La Terrasse und dem die Erweiterungsfläche umgebenden Zaun auf.	At least as far as can be seen from the public area the building really only houses toiletts and some public phones in front of them.	Soweit aus den öffentlichen Bereichen ersichtlich, beherbergt das Gebäude wirklich nur Toiletten und davor öffentliche Telephone.

As always with Disney attention is payed to the smallest details - not only themeing wise but certainly also regarding guest experience, so one of the two phones has been placed lower to allow for easy access of children too.	Wie immer bei Disney wird größte Aufmerksamkeit auch kleinen Details gewidmet - und nicht nur beim Themeing sondern natürlich auch bezüglich der Anlagen für die Gästen. So wurde einer der beiden Fernsprecher niederiger installiert, um Kindern leichteren Zugriff zu ermöglichen.
