Winter 2000 saw the opening of the first phase of the Val d’Europe, project close to the Disneyland Resort Paris. The site, which will eventually grow to include housing, office space a hotel and more premiered with the impressive shopping mail and neighbouring Shopping Outlet Centre.

Regional Shopping Mall (Commercial Centre)

To many people, "Val d’Europe" will simply be this impressive undercover shopping mall which encompasses over 100 stores including the massive "Auchan" Hyper-market. Here guests are invited to shop in bright modern surroundings with some of retails premier names whilst also discovering some less familiar stores.

One area of the extensive mall contains many of the 20 restaurants where guests can relax and enjoy a meal before discovering the rest of the centre.

Of special interest to Disney Fans is the "Disney Store" situated within the mall. Although this small boutique is not a "true" Disney Store (as it offers only a limited selection of merchandise from the theme park and none of the Disney Store’s unique products) the futuristic design is reminiscent of the new style stores which have begun to appear in America.

Im Herbst 2000 wurde die erste Phase des Val d´Europe Projektes nahe dem Disneyland Resort Paris eröffnet. Nachdem als erstes das Shopping Center mit benachbarter Outlet Mall eröffnet hat, sollen dort neben einem Hotel in Zukunft auch noch Wohn- und Büroräume entstehen.

Regionales Einkaufszentrum

Für die meisten Besucher wird "Val d´Europe" einfach ein Synonym für die eindrucksvolle überdachte Einkaufsmeile sein, die neben 100 verschiedenen Läden und Boutiquen den "Auchan" Hypermarche beherbergt. Hier werden die Gäste eingeladen, in einer freundlichen, hellen und modernen Umgebung bei bekannten Namen einzukaufen oder besonders beim ausländischen Publikum weniger bekannte Marken zu entdecken.

Ein Teil der großzügigen Anlage beherbergt die meisten der 20. Restaurants, in denen die Besucher sich nach dem Besuch der Boutiquen entspannen oder vor dem Entdecken des Centers stärken können.

Von besonderem Interesse für Disney Fans ist der "Disney Store", der sich auf der oberen Ebene des Einkaufszentrums befindet. Obwohl die kleine Boutique kein "wahrer" Disney Store ist (denn im Sortiment befindet sich nur eine kleine Auswahl von Merchandiseprodukten aus dem Themenpark und keine der Disney Store eigenen Produkte), so ist das futuristische Design wegweisend für die neu gestalteten Disney Stores, die jetzt in den USA auftauchen.

La Vallee Shopping Village

Guests are invited to step beneath the waves and explore under the oceans in an exciting new development at the Val d’Europe site, the state of the art Sea life Centre.

Here guests can trace the journey from the source of the Seine to the Atlantic and onto the Caribbean. Come face to face with marine life as never before from the tiniest shrimp to ominous looking sharks, here guests will literally be surrounded by undersea creatures.

Angrenzend an den gläsernen Palast des Einkaufszentrums können die Besucher den malerischen Charme des "La Valle Shopping Village" entdecken. In von lokaler französischer Architektur inspirierten kleinen Gassen befinden sich 70 kleine Outlet Stores, die zu Fabrikpreisen Produkte namhafter Hersteller anbieten.

Die Besucher eingeladen, durch die Wellen zu schreiten und eine faszinierende Unterwasserwelt zu entdecken, nachdem das erste französische Sea Life Center im Val d´Europe seine Pforten geöffnet hat.

Hier können die Besucher ihre Reise an der Quelle der Seine beginnen und sie quer durch den Atlantik bis in die Karibik zur Unterwasserflora und -fauna der französischen Antillen fortsetzen. Auge in Auge mit den Meeresbewohnern, von der kleinsten Krabbe bis zum gewaltigen Hai, sind die Besucher von den erstaunlichsten Kreaturen umgeben.

Getting There

Val d’Europe is situated 45 min drive east of central Paris accessible off the A4 Motorway

Now Val d’Europe opened its own RER station providing direct access to guests from both Paris and Disneyland Resort Paris. Line A, Station: Val d’Europe-Serris-Montevrain.

PEP’s bus service number 50 runs to Val d’Europe from the Marne-la-vallee/Chessy station ask at resort hotel reception for current timings

Val d´Europe liegt 45 Minuten Fahrzeit auf der Autobahn A4 vom Pariser Zentrum entfernt.

Die Linie A der RER, die Paris direkt mit dem Disneyland Resort Paris verbindet, hat eine neue Haltestelle mit direktem Zugang zum Val d´Europe: Val d´Europe-Serris-Montevrain.

PEP´s Bus Service mit der Busnummer 50 fährt vom Val d´Europe direkt zum Busbahnhof bzw. RER-Station Marne-la-vallee/Chessy. Bitte fragen sie an der RER-Station oder in Ihrem Resort Hotel nach dem aktuellen Fahrplan.
