Meet the Disney Characters ...

It's a dream, not only for the children, but also for many adults to get photographed once with Mickey or Minnie, getting hugged by Pluto or give Snow White a kiss ... those dreams can come true at the Disneyland Resort Paris, where one can meet all these and many more characters from the world of Disney.

The characters show up in several places: first of all in the shows, but there one won't be able to get into close contact. Also prior announced through the entertainment-programs, which is available all trough the parks and in the hotels, are meet-and-greet-opportunities where guest either can take their own pictures with the characters or get it taken by a professional photographer. Usually lines build up fast at these photo-opportunities in the park. Announced in the official park-guides and the hotelinformation- brochures are also the times and restaurants for dining with Disney-Characters where the guests can share their own private moment with the characters at their table.

The last scheduled opportunity to meet the characters is in the hotels, where they come out to greet the guests and play a little bit with the kids. In each hotel characters fitting to it's theme show up - the characters list and the exact hours are published on the information boards in the lobby of the hotel or can be inquired at the information- or reservation-desk of the hotel (please note: each hotel is only able to give out information about the character schedules for it's own lobby). A special tip: Mickey, Minnie, Donald and friends can also be met at the lobby of the Disneyland Hotel. But as the majority of the guests of this hotel are adults and most guests of other hotels don't know at what time Mickey arrives at this hotel, there is barely anyone at all to play with the characters or get it's picture taken with them - a great chance for kids and everybody who always wanted to meet Mickey and his friends, as here they have plenty of time to spend with each guest.

If You don't want to plan Your day exact and show up at a certain time to meet the characters, there is always the possibility to meet them in the Disneyland Park or the Walt Disney Studios by chance, where they wander around (in the case of the Disneyland Park especially at the Main Street U.S.A. and Fantasyland / in the case of the Studios especially on the Frontlot Square and inside Studio 1), pose for photographs and give autographs children love to collect. The characters, many of which You can meet only on the streets and in no scheduled performances, enter and leave the Disneyland Park either through the gate next to It's A Small World at Fantasyland or the gate next to the Bixby Brothers Shop on the Main Street U.S.A. - in the Studios they usually take the gates to the left and to the right of Studio 1 on the Frontlot Square or the gate between Animagique and the Flying Carpets over Agrabah on the Animation Courtyard. Expect, depending on the character, a lot of people around them and don't get upset, but Mickey usually is none of the characters that can be met in that way.
Also note: in general the amount of guests joining the characters in the Studios is a lot smaller than in the Disneyland Park, so if you or a member of your party loves characters, don't miss the Studio. As an extra bonus the fab five join the fun here in special Studio costumes!

Es ist ein Traum nicht nur vieler Kinder einmal mit Mickey oder Minni photographiert zu werden, Pluto zu umarmen oder Schneewittchen einen scheuen Kuss zu geben .... diese Träume können im Disneyland Resort Paris war werden, denn hier können sie alle diese und viele weitere Figuren aus der Welt Disneys treffen.

Die Figuren treten zu den unterschiedlichsten Gelegenheiten auf: zum einen in den Shows, bei denen man aber keine Chance hat, in direkten Kontakt mit Ihnen zu kommen. Ebenfalls werden in den Entertainment- Programmen, die kostenlos in den Parks und den Hotels erhältlich ist, Auftritte der Figuren angekündigt, bei denen Gäste sich mit den Figuren photographieren können oder dies von einem Photographen erledigt wird - bei diesen Veranstaltungen entstehen richtige Warteschlangen. In den Parkführers und den Hotelinformationen ausgewiesen werden des weiteren die Restaurants und Veranstaltungszeiten, um mit den Disney-Figuren zu speisen, dabei kann man dann seinen ganz privaten Moment mit den Charakteren am Tisch genießen.

Die letzte fest terminierte Möglichkeit die Charaktere zu treffen, bietet sich in den Hotels, wo sie erscheinen, um die neuen Gäste zu begrüßen und ein wenig mit den Kindern zu scherzen. In jedem Hotel erscheinen dazu zum Thema des Hotels passende Figuren - eine genaue Liste der Charaktere und der Veranstaltungszeiten finden Sie am Informationsbrett in der Lobby oder auf Nachfrage am Informations- oder Reservierungsschalter des Hotels (bitte beachten Sie: jedes Hotel hat lediglich Informationen zu den Veranstaltungen in seiner Lobby). Ein besonderer Tipp: Mickey, Minnie, Donald und ihre Freunde treten auch im Disneyland Hotel auf. Da der größte Teil der dortigen Gäste aber Erwachsene sind und die meisten Gäste der übrigen Hotels die Zeiten für Mickey's Auftritt nicht kennen, finden sich dort oftmals nur wenige Personen, die mit den Figuren spielen / sich mit ihnen photographieren lassen wollen - also die Chance für alle Kinder (und natürlich Erwachsenen) die einmal Mickey und seine Freunde treffen wollen, denn hier haben sie in der Regel wirklich Zeit sich mit jedem Gast ausführlich zu beschäftigen.

Sollten Sie Ihren Tag im Resort nicht vorausplanen, können Sie die Figuren noch immer im Disneyland Park und in den Walt Disney Studios selbst treffen, wo immer Charaktere umherwandern (im Falle des Disneyland Parks besonders auf der Main Street U.S.A. sowie  im Fantasyland und im Falle der Studios besonders auf dem Frontlot Square und in Studio 1), um für Photos zu posieren oder Autogramme zu geben, die besonders die jungen Gäste gerne sammeln. Die Figuren, von denen zahlreiche nur so im Resort anzutreffen sind, betreten den Disneyland Park in der Regel durch das große Tor neben It's A Small World im Fantasyland oder das Tor neben dem Bixby Brothers Shop am Beginn der Main Street U.S.A. bzw. für die Studios durch die Tore zur linken und rechten des Studio 1 auf dem Frontlot Square oder das Tor zwischen Animagique und The Flying Carpets over Agrabah im Animation Courtyard. Allerdings sollten sie, abhängig davon, welcher Charakter erscheint, mit zahlreichen Gästen um ihn herum rechnen. Nur Mickey erscheint in der Regel leider nicht auf diese Weise.
Generell gilt: der Andrang auf die Charaktere ist in den Studios deutlich geringer als im Disneyland Park. Sollten Sie oder ein Mitglied Ihrer Gruppe also die Charaktere lieben, verpassen Sie auf keinen Fall die Studios. Als Bonus treten die Fab Five hier außerdem in speziellen Filmkostümen auf!

Viel Glück also bei der Jagd auf Ihren Lieblinscharakter - und vergessen Sie nicht sich ein Autogramm geben zu lassen!
