 There are plenty of ways to save money on a trip to
the Disneyland Resort Paris besides choosing one of the
not so expensive hotels or seasons and avoiding the
more luxurious restaurants - all of them can be divided into two groups: first of all there are special offers for packages / passports or dining and second there are discounts.
Special Offers
Especially during the off-season there are plenty of special offers for
complete packages or certain extras. Some of them are announced in
advance in the official brochures of the Disneyland Resort Paris and the travel
agencies who partner with them (e.g. the annual "Kids Free"-promotion
from January to March or "3 for 2"- / "4 for
3"-offers at selected dates throughout the year) – but depending on the actual booking situation
there is also a good chance that Disneyland Resort Paris is presenting some
short term offers. Information about these can be obtained from castmembers at the DLP-direct-hotline (the telephone-numbers can be
found at the contact-page).
The offers (with the exception of the "Kids Free"-promotion)
vary from country to country so an inquiry with a travel agent
in a different country might be of interest too.
In addition partners and sponsors of
the Disneyland Resort Paris are making special offers for packages too - information about these are available only through the partner / sponsor who actually is making the offer. Mostly the partners / sponsors are making these offers in connection with a combined marketing or advertisement effort with
the Disneyland Resort Paris. A good example is Esso, who regularly makes special offers for packages available through it's gas
stations, or Air France, that regularly creates special offers for the
members of it's free frequent flyer program. The only way to get the hands on these and other offers from
partners and sponsors of
DLRP is to keep an eye on their announcements and advertisements.
Employees of the partners / sponsors of
the Disneyland Resort Paris also should ask their employer as sometimes these companies are able to get special offers and discounts for their employees
at the Disneyland Resort Paris for a limited time and in most cases in a limited contingent.
Generally the offers should be examined very carefully as they are available not only for a limited time (in the off-season when certain
shows and parades at the Disneyland Park are on hiatus) but also sometimes not include all elements of usual packages.
As there are quiet often some last-minute offers for hotel-guests of the
Disneyland Resort Paris Hotels it's recommended to ask the castmember during the check-in or the concierge afterwards if there are currently any special offers. The choice here regularly includes discounts for tickets to the dinner-show
Buffalo Bill's Wild West. As these (or similar) offers are sometimes only available for certain days (or even one day only) checking the information boards in the hotel-lobby daily is a good idea, too.
Discounts
How to become entitled for discounts?
The maybe most obvious way would
be to obtain an Annual Passport. The holder of this passports gain access to a long list of discounts from free parking to reduced prices
in the shops and restaurants plus additional seasonal offers. The list of current discounts can be found on the Annual Passport page. Depending on the length of a planned trip to
the Disneyland Resort Paris it's a good advice to calculate whether obtaining an annual passport might be interesting, especially as just one party-member with an annual passport
is entitled to gain discount onto the bills of the whole party in shops and

But similar discounts are also available
to shareholders of Euro Disney SCA (the company running
the Disneyland Resort Paris) who are member of the
shareholders club. The offers here reach from discounts on hotel rooms and packages to dining and shopping. More information about the current discounts and how to join the shareholders club can be found on the

VISA as official credit card of
the resort is offering holders of the Platinum and Gold cards
special privileges which
at least partially consist of discounts in shops and restaurants
- but these are not as extensive as the before mentioned options.
The last way to obtain discounts is only of limited interest to normal guests: castmember of
the Disneyland Resort Paris are entitled to discounts in the shops and restaurants and during certain seasons also for the hotel rooms. US-castmembers of Disney usually also get discounts if they show their castmember-ID at the shops and
restaurants.

Another way to save some money
while shopping is the opportunity
to buy some older DLP-merchandise at reduced prices.
Inside the resort there is one sales point only stocking these
special offers, the sales window of the Plaza West Boutique,
located on the right side of the main building of the Disneyland
Hotel just outside the gates of the themepark.
Outside of the resort two shops have been established in the picturesque
Troyes (about 170 kilometers south-east of Paris).
The first one, "Donaldson", specializing in
Disney-clothes, the second one, "Disney Stock",
selling all kind of Disney-products with up to 50% off the
regular price.

– abhängig von der jeweiligen Buchungssituation bestehen aber auch gute
Chancen, daß das Disneyland Resort Paris kurzfristige Angebote auflegt. Über diese
informieren dann auf Nachfrage die Castmember unter der DLP-Direkt-Hotline (die Telephonnummern finden sie auf der
Kontakt-Seite). Die
Angebote (mit Ausnahme der „Kids Free“-Aktion)
variieren von Land zu Land, so dass auch die Nachfrage bei Reisebüros im Ausland von Interesse sein kann.
Zusätzlich offerieren aber auch die Partner und Sponsoren des Disneyland
Resort Paris gelegentlich Angebote - über diese können allerdings nur die jeweilig anbietenden Partner / Sponsoren selbst informieren. In der Regel jedoch werden die Angebote mit einer gemeinsamen Werbe- oder Marketingkampagne mit
dem Disneyland Resort Paris verbunden. Ein gutes Beispiel dafür ist Esso, die regelmäßig über ihre Tankstellen Pauschalen zu Sonderpreisen
anbieten,
oder Air France, die regelmäßig Angebote für Mitglieder ihres

Resort Paris können sich auch bei ihrem Arbeitgeber erkundigen, da diese gelegentlich Angebote oder Rabatte für ihre Mitarbeiter zu ausgewählten Terminen und in beschränkter Anzahl erhalten können.
Generell aber sollten die Angebote genau geprüft werden, nicht nur da sie nur für einen beschränkten Zeitraum gelten (meist in der Nebensaison, wenn bestimmte
Shows und Paraden nicht stattfinden), sondern auch da sie nicht immer alle Elemente einer regulären Pauschale
enthalten.
Da es oftmals in letzter Minute noch beachtliche Angebote für Gäste der
Disneyland Resort Paris Hotels gibt, ist es empfehlenswert den Castmember während des Check-In oder den Concierge im Anschluss nach solchen zu befragen. Immer wieder offeriert werden Rabatte für Tickets der Dinner-Show

Wie ist es möglich Rabatte im Disneyland Resort Paris zu erhalten?
Am wohl einfachsten mit den Annual Passports
- der Inhaber des Passports ist berechtigt zahlreiche unterschiedliche Rabatte zu nutzen, die vom kostenlosen Parken bis hin zu Preisnachlässen in den Shops
sowie Restaurants und saisonale Sonderaktionen reichen. Eine Liste der aktuellen Angebote und Rabatte ist auf der

DLP.info zu finden. Abhängig von der Länge des Besuches im Disneyland
Resort Paris lohnt es sich nachzurechnen, ob die Anschaffung eines Annual Passports sinnvoll wäre, besonders da bereits ein einzelner Inhaber
eines Annual Passport Rabatt auf die Rechnung der kompletten Gruppe in
Restaurants und Shops erhält.
Ähnliche Rabatte erhalten aber auch Aktionäre der Euro Disney SCA (der Betreiberfirma
des Disneyland Resort Paris), sofern sie Mitglied des

Resorts räumt VISA Inhabern der Platinum und Gold Karten
besondere Privilegien im
Resort ein, die sich teilweise ebenfalls als Rabatt in den
Restaurants und Boutiquen zeigen - die allerdings nicht so
umfassend sind, wie die beiden ersten Optionen.
Schließlich der in der Regel wohl uninteressanteste Weg für den normalen Gast Rabatte zu erhalten: Castmember
des Disneyland Resort Paris sind berechtigt in den Shops und Restaurants Rabatt zu erhalten und können zu bestimmten Zeiten auch Hotelzimmer zu Sonderpreisen buchen. Auch Disney-Castmember aus den USA erhalten unter Vorlage ihrer Castmember-ID in Restaurants und Shops Rabatt.

Souvenirs
Eine Entlastung der
Reisekasse verspricht auch die
Möglichkeit, Auslaufmodelle aus der Souvenir-Kollektion des Disneyland
Resort Paris zu Sonderpreisen zu erwerben.
Im Ressort existiert eine Verkaufsstelle, die lediglich
derartige Angebote offeriert: der Verkaufsschalter der Plaza
West Boutique. Dieser befindet sich direkt hinter dem Ausgang
des Themenparks auf der rechten Seite des Hauptgebäudes des Disneyland
Hotels.
Außerhalb des Ressort wurden im malerischen Troyes (ca. 170
Kilometer süd-östlich von Paris) zwei Shops eröffnet.
