Breakfast at the Disneyland Resort Paris ...

The breakfast is a part of every package and even if you book only a room without a package the breakfast is always included in the Disney Hotels. To deal with the huge crowds that form in front of the restaurants especially shortly before the themeparks opensit is recommended to reserve a breakfast time to avoid long queues. You should reserve your breakfast time on the day of your arrival right at the check-in or just afterwards at the concierge if the check-in is unable to help. Usually it is possible to reserve breakfast for all days of your stay at once - and is recommended so, but especially if you are travelling with children you should pay notice to the fact that sleeping long might be a good idea at one of the days, too.

But what if you don't want to take your breakfast in the hotel as usual? If you don't want to buy an extra breakfast (then jump down one paragraph) there are two options: paying a surcharge and joining one of the character breakfasts, which are offered in several locations and let you start the day in a real Disney mood (more on the "Dining with Character"-page) or choosing the "Good Morning Fantasyland Breakfast", which is offered to guests staying at Disney's Newport Bay Club, Disney's Sequoia Lodge, Disney's Hotel Cheyenne and Disney's Hotel Santa Fe for free. It takes place in one of the restaurants of Fantasyland (usually at the Au Chalet de la Marionnette) where a large buffet is put up for the guests (equivalent to the buffet at the Disney's Sequoia Lodge) with the possibility to add american breakfast for a surcharge. The restaurant opens one hour before the Disneyland Park officially opens for the public and stays open for breakfast at least till one hour after the official opening. Depending on when you arrive at the entrance of the Disneyland Park you will be either driven to Fantasyland with the Disneyland Paris Railroad or will get the chance to walk down the Main Street U.S.A. through the Tarnier du Dragon under the Castle right into Fantasyland. The breakfast in the themepark not only offers a unique, magical setting, but also the chance to be up front at all Fantasyland attractions when the park opens. Sometimes it is even possible to ride a few of the rides prior to the official opening (just ask the CMs politely). To be eligible for the breakfast you must be a guest of the before mentioned hotels and either ask at the Check-In or when you book your stay for a reservation for the "Good Morning Fantasyland Breakfast" for the selected day(s).

For guests of the hotels staying off-side (and for guests who don't mind paying again for the breakfast) there are several options available, too. A fast breakfast is available at the McDonald's Restaurant at the Disney Village which also features a McCafe offering fresh coffee, cappuccino, brownies, donuts ... Also at the Disney Village the New York Style Sandwich shop offers a bit more sophisticated breakfast to eat in the shop or to take out. But these guests may also join in at the character breakfast which takes place daily in one of the restaurants of the Disney Village (here long queues are to be expected, as hotel guests with reservations will get prefered treatment). On sundays the option of having a brunch at the Steakhouse is also available as an more expensive option. But there is also the wonderful option to have breakfast in the themeparks. In the Disneyland Park Walt's offers a breakfast with the Disney characters - for which, as for nearly all meals at a table service restaurant, reservations are necessary. If you are looking for something special but without characters the Market House Deli at the Main Street U.S.A. should be your choice, offering a unique selection of delicious croisants, baguettes and sandwiches, which can be highly recommended, for a reasonable price! Plus: guests have the option of taking a seat in the small side street at the Deli (Market Street) or, if the weather is not so fine, in the Discovery Arcade and watch the guests strolling along the Main Street toward the Castle.

Das Frühstück ist Bestandteil jeder Pauschale und kann auch bei der Buchung einer reinen Übernachtung in einem der Disney Hotels nicht abbestellt werden. Um den daraus resultierenden großen Ansturm in den Restaurants kurz vor Parköffnung zu umgehen, ist es daher angeraten, eine Frühstückszeit im voraus zu reservieren, um so Warteschlangen zu umgehen. Die Reservierungen sollten direkt am Anreisetag noch beim Check-In oder, falls das nicht möglich ist, direkt anschließend bei dem Concierge vorgenommen werden. Üblicherweise können die Reservierungen für alle Tage des Aufenthalts auf einem vorgenommen werden - dabei sollten aber gerade Gruppen mit Kindern bedenken, dass ein Tag zum Ausschlafen auch sinnvoll sein kann.

Aber was, wenn Sie nicht jeden Tag das Frühstück im Hotel zu sich nehmen wollen? Sofern sie nicht das Frühstück nochmals komplett bezahlen wollen (dann springen sie einen Absatz weiter nach unten), werden zwei Möglichkeiten geboten: gegen einen Aufschlag können sie an einem der Frühstücke mit Disney Charakteren teilnehmen, die in verschiedenen Restaurants angeboten werden und den Tag in richtiger Disney-Stimmung beginnen lassen (mehr auf der "Dining with Characters"-Seite) oder aber sie wählen das "Guten Morgen Fantasyland Frühstück", das Gästen von Disney's Newport Bay Club, Disney's Sequoia Lodge, Disney's Hotel Cheyenne und Disney's Hotel Santa Fe kostenlos angeboten wird. Es findet in einem Restaurant in Fantasyland statt (normalerweise das Au Chalet de la Marionnette), in dem ein großes Buffet aufgebaut wird (entsprechend dem Angebot in Disney's Sequoia Lodge) sowie der Option gegen Aufschlag ein amerikanisches Frühstück zu erhalten. Das Restaurant öffnet bereits eine Stunde, bevor der Disneyland Park offiziell für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich ist. Abhängig davon, wann sie am Eingang des Disneyland Parks eintreffen, werden sie entweder mit der Disneyland Paris Railroad in das Fantasyland gefahren oder dürfen die Main Street U.S.A. hinunterlaufen und gelangen durch die Tarnier du Dragon unterhalb des Schlosses direkt in das Fantasyland. Das Frühstück im Park bietet nicht nur eine einmalige, magische Kulisse, sondern auch die Möglichkeit als einer der ersten bei Parköffnung an den Attraktionen im Fantasyland einzutreffen. Gelegentlich ist es sogar möglich einige der Fahrten schon vor der Öffnung zu genießen (fragen Sie einfach den Cast-Member höflich). Zur Teilnahme am Frühstück müssen Sie Gast eines der genannten Hotels sein und eine Reservierung für das "Guten Morgen Fantasyland Frühstück" vorgenommen haben. Dies ist entweder bereits bei der Buchung oder aber auch am Check-In unter Angabe des / der gewünschten Tage möglich.

Für Gäste der Hotels außerhalb des Resorts (und Gäste, die bereit sind ein weiteres Frühstück zu bezahlen) sind verschiedene Angebote realisierbar. Im Disney Village zum einen ein schnelles Frühstück im McDonald's Restaurant im Disney Village, das auch ein McCafe enthält, der frischen Kaffe, Cappuccino, Brownies, Donuts und weitere ähnliche Produkte anbietet, und zum anderen ein wenig aufwendiger im New York Style Sandwich Shop, der sowohl ein Frühstück zum Mitnehmen als auch zum Verzehr vor Ort anbietet. Allerdings ist es auch möglich, dass Frühstück mit den Disney Charakteren zu besuchen, dass täglich in dem Cafe Mickey im Disney Village stattfindet (hier sollten Sie mit längeren Warteschlangen rechnen, da Hotelgäste mit Reservierung bevorzugt behandelt werden). Sonntags bietet das Steakhouse (in einer gehobenen Preisklasse) zusätzlich auch einen Brunch an. Doch auch Gäste, die nicht in einem Disney-Hotel untergebracht sind, können in den Parks frühstücken. Im Disneyland Park bietet Walt's ein Frühstück mit den Disney Charakteren - für das allerdings, wie für fast alle Mahlzeiten in den Restaurants mit Tischbedienung eine Reservierung notwendig ist. Für alle, die etwas besonderes ohne Charaktere suchen, ist aber das Market House Deli an der Main Street U.S.A. die richtige Wahl mit seinem einmaligen Angebot frischer Croisants, Baguettes und Sandwiches, die wärmstens empfohlen werden können und zudem zu einem angenehm günstigen Preis angeboten werden! Plus: sie können einen Sitzplatz in der schmalen Seitenstraße neben dem Deli (Market Street) oder, bei schlechterem Wetter, in der Discovery Arcade wählen und den übrigen Gästen zu sehen, wie sie die Main Street hinauf Richtung Schloss schlendern.
