Info about Disney's Hotel Santa Fe |
The
Mexican themed hotel has 1000 guest rooms which are divided into 49
pueblos of varying shapes and sizes. Scatted around these pueblos guests
discover numerous icons which link together to make 4 separate trails,
each representing aspects of desert life.
Along the "Trail of Artifacts" guests discover a cactus encased in a
huge glass structure, A meteorite that has mysteriously crash landed
into one the pueblo's roof and even a grounded flying saucer. The "Trail
of Water" examines the importance of water in desert life. Beginning
high on the tallest pueblo and cascading downwards guests can follow its
journey as it fills streams and rivers then onto reservoirs where it
provides vital irrigation to the desert crops before returning to the
sky once more. Icons along other trails include a "snake like" lookout
tower and several brightly colored pueblos each representing different
aspects of Mexican life. But surly the most memorable icon of all is
Santa Fe's own volcano, its crater glowing with red hot lava and piping
steam.
