Info about Disney's Hotel Cheyenne |
The
Disney Cheyenne hotel is a dream come thru for all the cowboys and
cowgirls visiting Disneyland Resort Paris. The hotel has 14 western
style, two floor buildings with 1000 rooms. The hotel is located next to
the Rio Grande River, separating itself from the hotel Santa Fe on the
other site. The main lobby building welcomes guests before they can make
their way on to one of the two main streets that divide the hotel
building from each other. Once guests now their room number and building
name, which are related to famous western legends like Billy the Kid or
Annie Oakley, they can make themselves at home into this adventures
location. The saloon awaits the travelers for a visit after the trip to
the west or you can just go out and enjoy the colorful facades of the
house, including a jail and boarding house. Details like the
characteristic water tower which rises over one of the areas, or the big
fireplace in the lobby are giving the Cheyenne hotel the finishing
touch.

There
are 1000 rooms available and all of them have a bunk bed and a double
bed making the hotel the perfect choice for families of four. Parties of
4 adult might find it a little less comfortable when staying at a
Cheyenne room, as there are no rooms with single beds next to the bunk
bed.
The rooms are decorated in western style, up to the lamps that look like
cowboy boots. All the rooms have TV and Radio and a ceiling paddle fans
that will keep you cool in the hot summer months. Many of the rooms will
have their view over one of the main streets, however some of the
building will also have a nice view of the Rio Grande River and the
neighbor hotel Santa Fe.

Outside Your Room at

The
Chuckwagon is the big buffet style restaurant from the hotel than can be
found in the main building. You can enter the restaurant walking thru
the main lobby, or via the back when wandering down the main streets of
the hotel. The restaurant keeps the western style with their large
selection of Barbecue dishes including chili and smoky sausages on their
menu. Seating for the restaurant is in two barn like rooms adjacent to
the buffet where there is a small bar area Complete with saddle seats.
Next to the Chuckwagon is the Red Garter Saloon where you will find a
small bar room offering drinks and small snacks, including Disney's
Cocktails. On most evenings you can relax in the bar to the sound of
live country music.
At the General store you will find a small range of standard Disney
theme park souvenirs, as well as a range of six shooters, cowboy hats
and other western gear. A small range of snacks and drinks are also
available for cowboys on the run.
Onsite children can enjoy a leisure ride on one of the pony’s.
Occasionally a cart with horses can be found on the property where you
can, after paying a small fee, take place for a ride into the sunset.
A small playing area can be found next to the river.

Tips for Disney's Hotel Cheyenne

|
Walking
to the Disneyland Parks will take you a good 20 minutes as you will have
to pass the New York hotel and go thru the Village. You can also take a
short cut be going to the main entrance of the hotel, walk to the right,
passing the main entrance of the New York hotel, straight up to the
train station.
If you want to avoid high season queues to have lunch visit the
Chuckwagon restaurant for a quick bite. When the weather allows it you
can enjoy it outside without a big crowd passing by.
Walk to the end of the river path during the evening to enjoy some nice
views of the Cheyenne and Santa Fe Hotels.
