 Only 10 minute drive from the Disneyland parks you will find the Davy Crockett Ranch that is located on a 57 hectare piece of land, mainly existing out of wooded area. Entering the resort you will first have to make a stop at the front desk to pick up the keys before making your way into the resort. The resort has 595 bungalow style rooms housing 4 to 6 guests. The Bungalows are divided into small groups which can be reached via individual small roads circling around them. A small ranch style area invites the Davy Crockett Ranch on many activities including a pool, play areas and many animals with some of theme walk around freely.

 The bungalows can accommodate 4 or 6 people. The bungalow has a living room area with a cooking area for guests who want to stay on a self catering visit. In the living room area is a sofa that can be converted to a double bed. Depending on the size of the bungalow you will have either 1 sleeping room with a double bed or 2 sleeping rooms where the second small room has a bunk bed. Although the rooms are very small, they are very cozy. Also the bathroom is very small but they all have bathtubs.

Self caterers will find a microwave, Dish Washer, refrigerator, crockery and utensils, kettle and coffee maker in the bungalows.

 Enjoy a burger, tasty pizza or even a steak and a salad from the buffet at the Crockett’s Tavern restaurant that has a “tropical” view from behind a window into the Blue Springs Pool. Guests who choose not to take their breakfast from the Alamo Trading Post back to the bungalow have the option to eat it here.

The Blue Springs Pool is the nicest pool of the Disneyland Resorts. The indoor subtropical swimming pool includes three whirlpools hidden in caves, a water slide that is longer then it first looks, a wooden bridge that crosses the whole pool area including a tower, a small cold water pool the chill down, a small lazy river and a small children’s pool. The pool is highly recommended.

Alamo Trading Post is a small souvenirs shop where you can also find a selection of food and drinks. In the morning guest can collect their breakfast from this shop.

Guest can enjoy a drink at the Saloon which has a very big outside area overlooking the small ranch. Activities for children are taking place around this area. There is also a small stage that comes to live in the evening when country style bands are performing.

The ranch has a selection of fun things to do during the day and evenings. There are 2 tennis courts that can be used for free, Pony’s to ride for the little once, an archery course, a big outdoor play area for kids, A mountain bike track and a bicycle track for the little once, an Indian village, a collection of animals with some of them running around freely (not the wolf), volleyball and basketball Court, among other fun things.

 Have a break from the park and visit the Blue Springs Pool while attendance is low. The 10 minutes drive back and fort from the park is worth it.

There is a lot of activity around the Saloon during the evening, make sure to visit it when you stay at the Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch.

If staying and making use of the self catering make sure to visit the shopping centre first to avoid higher prices at the small onsite store.
