The basics: the single day passports. Guests who want to visit for one day only, can choose between a ticket valid for both theme parks or just one theme park. As the single-day one park passports are identical for both theme parks, guests can choose whether to visit the Walt Disney Studios OR the Disneyland Park after they got their ticket. Once they have entered one of the two theme parks though they can not "hop" into the other park without buying an additional ticket. Single day Park-Hopper passports grant access to both theme parks on the same day. This means: the guests can "hop" between the two parks as often as they want during the day (meaning: enter and re-enter both parks multiple times on the same day).

For a first time guest who has only one day to visit the resort usually the Disneyland Park will be the primary interest. As this theme park offers more attractions than can be enjoyed in a single day, a single-day park hopper passport is not necessary. As the Walt Disney Studios so far are not a full day experience guests choosing this park may be more interested in a park hopper passport. Therefore the single day park-hopper passports at full price are of interest to return-guests, who already visited both parks, guests who want to visit foremost the Studios as well as guests who are interested mainly in the Disneyland Park but desperately want to see one or two attractions in the Studios (e.g. the Stunt Show or the Rock'n'Roller Coaster).

BUT it should be kept in mind: there is so much to discover that one day just won't be enough to see everything in the Disneyland Park ...

D.h. ohne weiteres Ticket können sie nicht zwischen den Parks wechseln. Die Eintages-Park-Hopper Passports hingegen bieten Zugang zu beiden Themenparks am selben Tag, d.h. der Gast kann beliebig oft zwischen ihnen wechseln im Verlauf des Tages.

Für einen Erstbesucher wird im Regelfall der Disneyland Park im Vordergrund stehen. Nachdem dort aber weit mehr Attraktionen auf ihn warten, als an einem Tag bewältigt werden können, ist ein Eintages-Park-Hopper Passport im Regelfall nicht notwendig. Gäste, die sich für die Walt Disney Studios entscheiden, könnten hingegen ein höheres Interesse an einem Park-Hopper haben, da dieser Park bisher noch nicht wirklich für einen ganzen Tag Erlebnisse bereithält. Unter dem Strich lohnt sich der Eintages-Park-Hopper Passport zum vollen Preis damit sowohl für Gäste, die schon beide Parks besucht haben, als auch Gäste die in erster Linie an den Walt Disney Studios interessier sind oder die sich hauptsächlich für den Disneyland Park interessieren, aber unbedingt eine oder zwei Attraktionen in den Studios erleben wollen (z.B. die Stunt Show oder den Rock'n'Roller Coaster).

Allerdings gilt es zu bedenken: der Disneyland Park bietet bereits soviel zu entdecken, dass ein einzelner Tag einfach nicht ausreicht ...

 The solutuion are the multi-day passports: they can be bought valid for access to the theme parks on two or three days. There are no four- or five-day passports available, but guests booking a package at the Disneyland Resort Paris will receive "length-of-stay"-passports valid for the whole length of their stay, which might also be four, five or even more days. Guests without a package who wish to visit the theme parks for more than three days have the option either to buy multiple multi-day passports (or a combination of multi-day passports and a single day passport) or to buy an Annual Passport. The first option is theoretical though, as an Annual Passport is already cheaper than any other combination of full priced passports for four days on sale - not considering the discounts granted by and for the Annual Passport.

Days left at the end of a stay are not lost, as the multi-day passports do NOT have to be used on consecutive days. This means guests can return whenever they want during the three year window from the date of issue (except if the passports are dates, see above). It also makes it easy to visit the parks on one day, spend a few days visiting the highlights of Paris or the surrounding area and then return to visit the theme parks on the remaining days of the vacation. Perfect freedom in planing your trip!

The best: all multi-day passports are automatically park-hopper passports. In other words: with these passports you can visit both theme parks on the same day and "hop" (change) between them as often as you want. In short: they are the ultimate passports if an Annual Passport is out of question. But it might be worth considering the Annual Passport even if you do not to plan to return anytime soon...

 Die Lösung sind die Mehrtages-Passports: sie gewähren Eintritt in die Themenparks an zwei oder drei Tagen. Vier- oder Fünf-Tages-Passports sind nicht erhältlich, lediglich Gäste, die eine Pauschale im Disneyland Resort Paris buchen, erhalten einen "Length of Stay"-Park-Hopper-Passports, der je nach Aufenthaltsdauer auch für vier oder mehr Tage gültig sein kann. Gäste ohne Pauschale, die mehr als drei Tage in den Themenparks verbringen wollen, können entweder mehrere Mehrtages-Passports (ggf. in Kombination mit einem Eintages-Passport) oder aber einen Annual Passport erstehen. Die erste Möglichkeit ist dabei aber eher theoretisch, da der Annual Passport günstiger ist als eine Kombination verschiedener Mehrtages-Passports zum vollen Preis - ohne Berücksichtigung der Rabatte auf und mit dem Annual Passport.

Tage, die am Ende eines Besuches, noch nicht genutzt wurden, verfallen übrigens nicht, da die Mehrtages-Passports nicht an aufeinander folgenden Tagen genutzt werden müssen, vielmehr kann der Gast innerhalb von drei Jahren ab Ausstellung die Tickets nutzen (sofern die Passports nicht datiert sind, wie oben beschrieben). Das erleichtert auch die Urlaubsplanung, da z.B. zwischen Besuche in den Themenparks auch ein Tag in Paris oder im Umland eingeschoben werden kann. Das ist Freiheit bei der Urlaubsgestaltung!

Das beste: alle Mehrtages-Passports sind automatisch Park-Hopper-Passports - mit diesen Passports ist es möglich beide Themenparks am selben Tag zu besuchen und beliebig oft zwischen den Parks hin und her zu wechseln. Kurz: die Ideallösung, wenn eine ein Annual Passport nicht zur Debatte steht. Den sollte man aber nicht zu schnell ausschließen, selbst wenn ein weiterer Besuch in nächster Zeit nicht geplant ist...

 If you plan on visiting the theme parks several times during one year or stay for more than three days the Annual Passports are THE passports for you. But even if not the Annual Passports are worth considering anyway, even if you already got a "length of stay"-park-hopper passport included in your package. Why? Because of the discounts!

Guests not entitled to any discounts via the Shareholders' Club or other programs should consider upgrading one of their tickets to an Annual Passport. If traveling with a family or group the discounts on food and souvenirs easily exceed the surcharge for the Annual Passport compared to the passport media as the discounts apply to bills of the whole group in restaurants and shops.

Also the price for the Annual Passport (as already said: cheaper than any combination of full price passports for four days) will be discounted if family members buy several Annual Passports together. Plus: if an AP holder signs up another guest as a new AP holder the new AP holder receives 10% discount on his new AP!  Sollten Sie planen die Themenparks innerhalb eines Jahres mehrmals zu besuchen oder für mehr als drei Tage, sind die Annual Passports DIE Passports für Sie. Doch selbst, wenn Sie beide Fragen mit Nein beantworten, lohnt sich eine genauere Betrachtung - sogar wenn ein "Length of Stay"-Park-Hopper-Passport vorliegt. Warum? Wegen der Rabatte!

Gäste die weder über den Shareholders' Club noch ein anderes Programm Rabatte erhalten, sollten über ein Upgrade zum Annual Passport nachdenken. Bei einem Urlaub mit der Familie oder einer Gruppe gleichen die Rabatte in Restaurants und Shops den Aufpreis für den Annual Passport im Vergleich zu den übrigen Passports schnell mehr als aus, da die Rabatte jeweils für die gesamte Rechnung gelten.

Außerdem wird der Preis für Annual Passports (ohnehin günstiger als Mehrtages-Passports für vier Tage) noch reduziert, wenn mehrere Mitglieder einer Familie gemeinsam Annual Passports kaufen.  The Disneyland Park alone already offers enough rides, shows and parades to spend two days all the time discovering something new - so the naturally passport choice should be a multi-day passport. Two days are fine to enjoy the Disneyland Park on its own leisurely. With some planning (check the show and parade schedule in advance!) and if you are willing to skip some attractions in both parks you will also be able to get in the highlights of the Walt Disney Studios. Perfect for the relaxing visit if you don't want to miss anything in the two theme parks is the three day passport though, which even gives some time to enjoy a few selected attractions multiple times.

A fourth day in the theme parks will allow you even more freedom to enjoy the additional offers of the resort as Panoramagique in the Disney Village, enjoy your preferred attractions repeatedly and relax at the cool pool of your hotel during the afternoon heat in summer, or get a hot drink at the open fireplace of Disney's Sequoia Lodge in the winter months half-way through the day. For four or more days the Annual Passports are the cheapest passports - plus they grant great discounts, not to mention that they allow you to return and enjoy another season in the parks...

To save some money we recommend guests should consider getting an Annual Passport even if they are visiting for three days or less - with just one Annual Passport in your group all of you can make use of the great discounts that help save money on lunch, dinner, souvenirs and much more. It can be worth it!

 Der Disneyland Park alleine bietet schon mehr als genug Fahrattraktionen, Shows und Paraden, um den Gästen für zwei Tage immer wieder etwas neues zu bieten. Entsprechend empfiehlt sich ein Mehrtages-Passport. Zwei Tage reichen aus, um den Disneyland Park entspannt zu erkunden. Mit etwas Planung (vorallem: überprüfen der Show- und Paraden-Zeiten im Vorfeld!) und dem Willen einige Attraktionen in beiden Parks auszulassen, können in zwei Tagen auch noch die Highlights der Walt Disney Studios besucht werden. Für einen richtig entspannenden Besuch beider Themenparks empfiehlt sich aber ein Drei-Tages-Passport. Dann bleibt auch Zeit einige Attraktionen zu wiederholen.

Mit einem vierten Tag in den Themenparks wird es dann möglich auch noch die anderen Angebote des Resorts voll auszunutzen, wie z.B. Panoramagique im Disney Village, oder in den heißen Mittagsstunden im Sommer ein kühles Bad im Pool des Hotels zu nehmen bzw. in den kalten Wintermonaten sich zwischendurch am prasselnden Kaminfeuer von Disney's Sequoia Lodge aufzuwärmen. Für vier oder mehr Tage sind die Annual Passports die günstigsten Passports - außerdem bieten sie Rabatte und die Möglichkeit in einer anderen Jahreszeit nochmals die Parks zu erkunden...

Allen die Geld sparen wollen, empfehlen wir ohnehin einen Annual Passport in Betrach zu ziehen, selbst wenn der Aufenthalt nur drei oder weniger Tage dauert. Denn schon mit nur einem Annual Passport in der Gruppe können die Rabatte in Restaurants, Shops und für vieles mehr in Anspruch genommen werden. Das kann sich rechnen!
