Captain Hook's Pirate Ship

The majestic galley of Captain Hook anchored in the lagoon in front of the lush Adventure Isle next to Skull Rock doubles as stage, walk through attraction and snack sales point...

Captain Hook's Pirate ship is located next to Skull Rock and part of the “big play area”, adventure island. Guest can access the ship and wander on the top deck.

Tips

A nice photo opportunity for younger guests dressed up as pirates.

Specials

in 2004 the galley doubles as an outdoor stage during the summer half of the year, which ment access to the actual ship was restricted.

There used to be a Captain Hook's Pirate ship in Disneyland in Anaheim. Because there wasn't enough plave in Fantasyland the ship was build behind the Main Street Opera House. One finished it was “lifted” into its new location. The ship has been removed in 1981. While the ship's base was build from wood it has been reinforced with concrete making it impossible to move. Bulldozers demolished the ship and no replacements has been build. There was no room or budget to add a new ship in the 1981 rehab of Fantasyland. On the old Ship's location the new Dumbo ride was erected.

There is a smaller version of Captain Hook's Pirate Ship at the Disneyland Hotel swimming pool area in Disneyland Anaheim.
