 At
the shores of the Rivers of the Far West you will find a playground,
which is perfect for childrens to have some fun and for parents to relax
a little bit.
The playground looks like a small indian village themed to Walt Disneys
animated feature "Pocahontas" and offers slides, swings and pretty much
everything else that makes a great playground - including a soft floor
to prevent bruises and other injuries.
Parents can rest their feet here for a few minutes at one of the benches,
that surround the Indian Village playground and that also offer a good
on what your child is doing.

The
playgrounds at Disneyland Paris are a great place for children to blow
of some steam after having waited in line for such an attraction like
Big Thunder Mountain. Or, if your
child is too small or too young to ride certain thrill-attractions,
playgrounds like the Pocahontas Indian Village are great places to wait
while the rest of your party is queuing.
Two more playgrounds can be found on
Adventure
Isle (the
Pirate's
Beach playground next to
Captain Hook's Galley) and within
Buzz
Lightyears Pizza Planet Restaurant at Discoveryland.

The
place where the Pocahontas Indian Village can be found once was home to
another attraction: the Indian Canoes.
Guests were invited to paddle with some Indians and fearless trappers
over the Rivers of the Far West aboard canoes to discover the wildlife
and "wonders of nature" along its shores.
However, this attraction didn't last long and after just two summers,
the ride disappeared in 1993. |
Der
Ort, wo man Heute das Pocahontas Indian Village findet, war einst das zu
Hause einer anderen Attraktion: der Indian Canoes.
Besucher wurden dazu eingeladen mit ein paar Indianern und Trappern an
Bord von Kanus über die Rivers of the Far West zu paddeln und dabei die
"Naturwander" an deren Ufern zu bestaunen.
Jedoch gab es diese Attraktion nicht all zu lange und nach nur zwei
Sommern verschwand sie 1993. |
