 Arguably the most beautifully decorated of all of the parks counter-service restaurants, Pizzeria Bella Note takes its theme from Disney's classic animated feature "Lady and the Tramp". Who can ever forget one of Disney's most memorable scenes as the two stars share a bowl of spaghetti and meatballs as they are serenaded by the two chefs? (Sculptures of whom can be found seemingly carved from stone columns in the dining area of the restaurant).

Other decoration includes beautifully painted murals from key scenes from the film to the fabulous theming surrounding the counter area where delightful chandeliers appear to be formed from bunches of grapes.

Specialising in pizza and pasta the restaurant offers reasonably priced food in a great surrounding. The spaghetti is tasty and surprisingly filling and the Tiramisu is delicious.

 Die Pizzeria Bella Notte ist wohl unbestritten das Schnellrestaurants mit der schönsten Dekoration im ganzen Park und erinnert in seiner Thematik an Disneys Meisterwerk "Susi und Strolch". Und wer kann denn schon einen der denwürdigsten Augenblicke der Filmgeschichte vergessen, in dem die beiden Hauptdarsteller sich einen Teller Spaghetti teilten, während die zwei Köche ein Liebeslied trällerten? (Letztere kann man übrigens auch als Steinfiguren in den Säulen des Restaurants finden.)

Die Pizzeria ist zudem noch mit wunderschönen Wandgemälden, die Szenen aus dem Film zeigen, verziert und weist eine umwerfende Detailverliebtheit auf, was an der Theke besonders deutlich wird, wo die verspielten Lampen aus Weinreben geformt zu sein scheinen.

Mit dem Schwerpunkt auf Pizza und Pasta bietet dieses Restaurant Mahlzeiten zu einem vernünftigen Preis und in einer fantastischen Umgebung an. Die Spaghetti sind recht gut und machen satt und die Tiramisu hier ist einfach köstlich.

 The outside seating area is an ideal place to relax on a sunny day. It's also a great area to break for a late lunch and watch the parade, as it passes right outside.

Guests should also keep an eye out for the restaurants facade which, inspired by Pisa's famous tower seems to slightly lean to one side.

 Die Tische auf der Terasse vor dem Restaurant ein schönes Plätzchen um an sonnigen Tag sich ein wenig zu entspannen. Auch kann man sich hier bei einem späten Mittagessen die tägliche Parade ansehen, die direkt an der Pizzeria Bella Notte vorbeizieht.

Schauen Sie sich auch einmal die verspielte Fassade des Restaurants an, die doch irgendwie an ein gewisses Gebäude aus Pisa erinnert...

 Christmas in the early 1930's. Walt Disney had just become famous with his big star Mickey Mouse. He wanted to present to his wife Lilly a very special gift. What she found beneath the Christmas tree was a hat box. Expecting to find a new hat of the latest fashion she opened the large ribbon around the box and found... a puppy.

Years later, Walt Disney used this exact same scene for one of his most beloved animated features: "Lady and the Tramp".
Compared to previous works, "Lady and the Tramp" had a very simple, but also very charming story. To create the world of a dog, Walt also decided to use Cinemascope for the first time for one of his animated features. (Cinemascope is still a rare thing for animation. Besides "Lady and the Tramp" [1955], only "Sleeping Beauty" [1959], "The Black Cauldron" [1985], "A Bug's Life" [1998] and most recently "Atlantis - The Lost Empire" [2001] have used it.)

"Lady and the Tramp" soon became a classic and the famous "spaghetti-scene" is now being considered as one of the greatest moments of Hollywood.While at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom, guests can dine at a table service restaurant called Tony's Town Square Restaurant situated right on Main Street, the Imagineers decided to create something completly new for Disneyland Paris. They chose to build a counter-service restaurant, which would not only referr to "Lady and the Tramp", but would also add an Italian touch to Fantasyland, which already featured French, English and German "corners".

As a sentimental touch to Disney history, they used broken tiles of a mural, that Disney artist Mary Blair (whose work is also visible at Disneyland Paris just a few meters away from Pizzeria Bella Notte at it's a small world) had created for Disneyland's Tomorrowland. Those broken tiles are now part of the wales of this very special counter-service restaurant.

 Weihnachten in den frühen 30er Jahren. Walt Disney war gerade erst mit seinem großen Star Micky Maus berühmt geworden. Nun wollte er seiner Frau Lilly ein ganz besonderes Geschenk machen: unter dem Weihnachtsbaum fand sie eine große Hutschachtel. In der Erwartung, einen neuen Hut nach der aktuellen Mode darin zu finden, entfernte sie die große Schleife von der Schachtel und fand... ein Hundewelpe.

Jahre später verwand Walt Disney genau diese Szene in einen seiner schönsten Zeichentrickfilme: "Susi und Strolch".
Im Vergleich zu vorherigen Arbeiten hatte "Susi und Strolch" eine recht einfache, aber deshalb nicht weniger liebenswerte Geschichte. Um die Welt aus der Sicht eines Hundes zu erschaffen, entschied Walt zum ersten mal in einem seiner Trickfilme das Cinemascope-Verfahren zu benutzen. (Auch Heute noch ist Cinemascope recht selten für den Trickfilm. Neben "Susi und Strolch [1955], benutzten bisher nur "Dornröschen" [1959], "Taran und der Zauberkessel" [1985], "Das Große Krabbeln" [1998] und zu letzt "Atlantis - Das Geheimnis der verlorenen Stadt" [2001] diese Technik.)

"Susi und Strolch" wurde schnell zu einem Klassiker und die berühmte "Spaghetti"-Szene wird Heute schon als einen der größten Momente in der Geschichte Hollywoods gehandelt.

Während man in Walt Disney Worlds Magic Kingdom in einem feinen Restaurant namens Tony's Town Square Restaurant direkt auf der Main Street speisen kann, entschieden sich die Imagineers für etwas ganz neues in Disneyland Paris. Sie entschlossen, ein Schnellrestaurant zu bauen, das sich thematisch nicht nur an "Susi und Strolch" anlehnen sollte sondern auch einen gewissen italienischen Touch nach Fantasyland bringen sollte, das bereits französische, englische und deutsche "Ecken" vorwies.

Als sentimentale Geste zur Disney Geschichte benutzen sie die zerbrochenen Teile eines Wandbildes, das die Disneykünstlerin Mary Blair (deren Arbeit in Disneyland Paris nur ein paar Meter von der Pizzeria Bella Notte entfernt bei it's a small world ebenfalls zu sehen ist) für Disneylands Tomorrowland erschaffen hatte. Diese Überreste sind nun Teil der Wände dieses ganz besonderen Schnellrestaurants.
