 Situated in the small Italian influenced area to the right hand side of the castle, guests can find Fantasia Gelati.

Decorated with an elaborate mural featuring characters from the Disney's 1940 masterpiece, the small counter service eatery offers one of the best selections of ice cream in the park - which can be a welcomed refreshment during hot summer days.

 In der kleinen italienische Ecke neben dem Schloss gelegen findet sich Fantasia Gelati, das mit einem bemerkenswerten Wandgemälde voll mit Figuren aus Disney's Meisterwerk "Fantasia" geschmückt ist.

Dieser kleine Stand bietet eine große Auswahl an verschiedenen Eissorten, was besonders im Sommer eine willkommene Erfrischung bietet.

 There's a small number of chairs and tables in front of Fantasia Gelati, from which you have a nice view onto it's a small world and its carillon.

 Vor Fantasia Gelati gibt es ein paar Tische und Stühle, von denen man einen guten Blick auf it's a small world und dessen Glockenspiel hat.

 The most visible feature of Fantasia Gelati is the large mural behind the counter, which is presenting many of the characters from Walt Disney's masterpiece "Fantasia".

Of course, the fauns and centaurs from "Pastoral Symphony"-sequence are not missing. But it's interesting to note that these characters weren't created for Beethoven's score in the first place. They were meant to star in a sequence which would have used Pierné's "Cydalise et le Chevre-Pied" as its score. However, after those mythological creatures had been drawn, the Disney animators couldn't tell the story they wanted to tell (with the big finale when Zeus is causing a mighty storm) with that music. So something "stronger" was required. In the end, Beethoven's Sixth Symphony, called "The Pastoral", was picked to show us a day on Mount Olympus.

 Das deutlichste Merkmal von Fantasia Gelati ist das große Wandgemälde hinter der Theke, das die verschiedensten Figuren aus Walt Disneys Meisterwerk "Fantasia" zeigt.

Natürlich dürfen dabei die Faune und Zentauren aus der "Pastorale"-Sequenz nicht fehlen. Dabei ist es durchaus bemerkenswert, dass diese Figuren ursprünglich gar nicht für Beethovens Musik kreiert worden waren. Sie sollten in einer Sequenz auftreten, die auf Pierné's "Cydalise et le Chevre-Pied" hätte basieren sollen. Jedoch konnten die Disneyzeichner mit dieser Musik nicht die Geschichte erzählen, die sie erzählen wollten (mit dem großen Finale, bei dem Zeus einen gewaltigen Sturm entfacht). Etwas "stärkeres" wurde benötigt. Schließlich wurde Beethovens Sechste Symphony, die "Pastorale" genannt, gewählt, um uns einen Tag auf dem Olymp zu zeigen.
