 This restaurant specialises in pizza and pasta that can be enjoyed in the main seating area or during warmer days on the terrace or veranda overlooking the waterfalls.

As the restaurant was never designed to represent "The Jungle Book" from which it now takes its name there is little to connect it with the film, apart from the music, which plays around the area.

 Colonel Hathi's Pizza Outpost bietet vor allem Pizzas und Pasta, die man entweder im Speiseraum oder bei angemessenem Wetter auch auf der Terrasse genießen kann, welche einen Blick auf die Wasserfälle in den tropischen Gärten nebenan erlaubt.

Da das Restaurant nie als "Dschungelbuch"-Lokal gedacht war, wird das Thema des Films auch nur durch die Musik verdeutlicht, die ständig in diesem Bereich des Parks spielt.

 During the summer time, you can get a table at the restaurant's mostly covered outdoor seating area (almost) everytime, plus you can enjoy the beautiful view onto Adventureland.

 Während des Sommers bekommt man (fast) immer ein Tisch auf der fast komplett überdachten Terrasse des Restaurants, von der man außerdem einen wunderschönen Blick auf Adventureland genießen kann.

 Colonel Hathi’s Pizza Outpost began life as one of the parks table service restaurants, under the name of The Explorers Club. The restaurant offered tropical inspired dishes in its unique colonial surroundings but, during a reorganisation of the park's catering facilities it was decided there were less full service restaurants required than originally envisioned therefore it was transformed into the Pizza Outpost.

As a result the interior still includes much of the original theming, unusual to a counter service restaurant, such as animatronic birds perched high in a tree above the main dining area.

 Der heutige Colonel Hathi's Pizza Outpost war anfangs eines der Tischbedienungsrestaurants im Park, das den Namen "The Explorer's Club" trug. Dieses Restaurant bot tropische Gerichte in einem einmaligen kolonialen Speiseraum.

Doch leider wurde während der Reorganisation des Parks kurz nach dessen Eröffnung entschieden, dass man weniger hochklassige Restaurants benötige, und so wurde aus dem "Explorer's Club" Colonel Hathi's Pizza Outpost. Doch die Innenausstattung beinhaltet noch immer viel von dem ursprünglichen Thema, wie beispielsweise audio-animatronische Vögel, die hoch oben in einem Baum über dem Hauptspeisebereich sitzen.
