 Based
on Disney’s hit feature film Aladdin "Le Passage Enchanté d'Aladdin"
retells the story of the boy who went from rags to riches, with a little
help from a magic lamp and an very unordinary genie.
The walk-through attraction comprises of a series of detailed tableaux’s
that highlight key scenes from the film and is located in one of the
Adventureland Bazaar buildings, whose arabian architecture continues
inside with colorful lamps, wand-paintings and even a little fountain
tugged away in one corner, that guests discover while following the
narrow, twisted path.
The story begins in the town of Agrabah where Aladdin has to steal to
survive. In another scene guests see Aladdin discovering the lamp deep
within the Cave of Wonders, and, by the use of some Disney special
effects, can watch as Aladdin rubs the lamp causing the genie to appear
and vanish as if by magic.
With the help of the Genie and Abu, his little ape, Aladdin is finally
able to persue his love for princess Jasmine. But a little later the
evil Jafar gains control of the lamp with which he plans to take over
the world, but in true Disney style a happy ending is just around the
corner as Aladdin flies into the sunset with his princess aboard a magic
carpet und the full moon who somehow resembles a well known face...
The attraction is little more than a series of animated models/scenes
but features a lot more detailed and elaborate sets and figures than the
models in the windows of the Emporium on the
Main Street. The carefull use
of special effects, the atmosphere of the narrow arabian streets with
the decorated walls together with the instrumental soundtrack from the
animated feature that is underscoring each scene creates a very special
experience, so that not only fans of the film will enjoy the short
recreation of the story.

Geschichte des Jungen, der von der Straße in den Palast kam - mit der
Hilfe einer magischen Lampe und eines sehr ungewöhnlichen
Flaschengeistes.
Diese Walk-Through-Attraktion besteht aus einer Reihe detaillierter
Modelle, die die Schlüsselszenen des Films darstellen und befindet sich
in einem der Gebäude des Adventureland Bazaar, dessen arabische
Architektur sich auch im Inneren mit prächtigen Lampen, Wandgemälden und
sogar einer Quelle fortsetzt, die die Gäste entdecken, wenn sie dem
verwinkelten, engen Pfad folgen.
Die Geschichte beginnt in Agrabah, wo Aladdin als Straßenjunge lebt. In
einer anderen Szene ist zu sehen, wie er die Lampe tief in der Höhle der
Wunder entdeckt. Dank einiger Disney Special Effects können die Gäste
sogar sehen, wie der Flaschengeist auf magische Weise erscheint und
verschwindet, als Aladdin die Lampe reibt.
Mit der Hilfe des Geistes und Abu, seines kleinen Affen, kann Aladdin
endlich seine Liebe zu Prinzessin Jasmin verfolgen. Doch kurze Zeit
später erbeutet der böse Jafar die Lampe und will mit ihr die Macht über
die ganze Welt erlangen. Doch in wahrem Disneys-Stil wartet das
Happy-End schon hinter der nächsten Ecke - und Aladdin und Jasmine
fliegen auf ihrem Teppich in den Sonnenuntergang unter den wachsamen
Blicken des Mondes, der an ein bekanntes Gesicht erinnert...
Die Attraktion ist wenig mehr als eine Reihe beweglicher Modelle/Szenen,
deren Szenerie und Figuren aber sehr viel detaillierter und
ausgearbeiteter sind als die der Modelle in den Fenstern des Emporium
auf der Main Street. Dank des
bedachten Einsatzes von Spezial Effekten, der Atmosphäre der engen
arabischen Strassen mit ihren dekorierten Wänden zusammen mit dem
Instrumentalsoundtrack aus dem Film, der jede Szene untermalt, entsteht
ein besonderes Erlebnis. Nicht nur die Fans des Films werden daher die
kurze Wiederbelebung der Geschichte geniessen.
